The requirement for the Quantity Surveyor (QS)

1. The degree of the civil engineering or the related major

2. 5 years working experience as the QS in the construction industry

3. Responsible for the estimation of the BOQ including details regarding quantities of the required materials based on DWG, and the estimation of the quotation for tender projects.

4. Responsible for the negotiation with the main contractor and follow-up of the progress of payment and claiming VO.

5. Responsible for the preparation of the inspection reports and progress report, and monitoring of the material requirement

6. Responsible for PUB submission and the guidance to supervisor and foreman and checking the shop drawing prepared by contactors and the submission of As-Built Drawing.

7. Competent ability in English

8. Can working at weekends and public holidays.

-Handling of MOM duties, which includes application, renewal etc

-Apply for training and courses

-Handles issue related to staff and workers

-Help with recruitment of staff

Handle full spectrum of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable

Verifying and processing supplier invoices

Check and verify staff claims

Prepare payment via various modes

Prepare monthly payroll, CPF submissions

Answering phone calls from customers/suppliers

Prepare monthly payment schedules

Handling in partial sets of accounts and assist in month-end closing

Foreign Work Pass application (Work Permit, S Pass, E Pass)

Assist in ad-hoc duties assigned by superior

Driving of a class 3 vehicle

Delivery of construction goods, ferrying of workers and company's errand
