Responsibilities for Project Engineer

• Determine and define project scope and objectives

• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements

• Track project costs in order to meet budget

• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Job Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP) invoices and general ledger (GL) journal entries, accurately and promptly in the accounting system.

• Verify and process supplier invoices, ensuring purchase orders and delivery notes are matched correctly.

• Update and maintain customer and vendor account information.

• Monitor outstanding balances and report discrepancies to management.

• Assist in preparation for quarterly GST returns

• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

• Liaise with internal teams and external parties to resolve accounting discrepancies.
