Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Paralegal to join its Banking & Finance team in Singapore. This role offers exposure to a wide range of financing transactions, including syndicated lending, acquisition finance, project finance, and cross-border deals. You will support partners and associates on complex mandates, gaining valuable experience in both domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and preparing financing agreements and related documentation.

• Support lawyers in managing transaction processes, including due diligence and closing checklists.

• Conduct legal and regulatory research on banking and finance matters.

• Liaise with clients, counterparties, and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.

• Maintain organised records and transaction files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Provide administrative and paralegal support across the Banking & Finance practice.

Requirements

• Prior paralegal experience in banking & finance or corporate law will be advantageous. Legal Secretaries supporting Banking teams are welcomed to apply.

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence in liaising with clients and colleagues.

• Proactive, adaptable, and motivated to develop expertise in complex financing work.

We are working with a well-regarded law firm that is looking to expand its Dispute Resolution team with the addition of a Junior Associate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer who is keen to build a strong foundation in contentious work, with exposure to restructuring and insolvency-related disputes.

The Role

You will be involved in a broad range of litigation matters, including:

• Commercial and civil disputes
• Contentious restructuring and insolvency matters (including creditor/debtor disputes, enforcement and advisory work)
• Legal research, drafting submissions, and supporting partners on active matters
• Working closely with senior lawyers on complex cases from an early stage

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 1 to 4 PQE (or equivalent)
• Training or early experience in litigation and dispute resolution
• Exposure to or a genuine interest in contentious restructuring and insolvency work would be advantageous
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced team environment
