Job Scope
· Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction site activities to ensure smooth project execution.
· Monitor site progress to ensure work is completed on schedule and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
· Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of workmanship and compliance with approved drawings and standards.
· Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
· Identify unsafe practices and take corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
· Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, workers, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders on site matters.
· Ensure proper deployment and utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment on site.
· Resolve site issues, technical problems, and unexpected challenges in a timely manner.
· Assist in implementing quality control measures and ensure construction works meet required standards.
· Maintain daily site records including site reports, progress updates, manpower attendance, and material usage.
· Report project progress, delays, and issues to the Project Manager.
· Attend site meetings and provide updates on site activities when required.
· Carry out any other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
· Minimum 15 years of relevant site supervision experience in the construction industry.
· Possession of relevant safety certifications (e.g., WSQ Supervisors Safety Course) is an advantage.
· Good knowledge of construction processes, site operations, and safety regulations.
· Familiar with local building codes and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
· Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage site workers and subcontractors.
· Good communication and coordination skills.
· Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle site issues independently.
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
· Willing to work a 6-day work week and attend to site matters after working hours when necessary.
