Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious and target-driven Sales Manager to be the driving force behind the exhibition and sponsorship revenue for the Smart Home Tech Show. The primary focus of this role is to secure participation from companies within the smart home, consumer technology, and related home improvement sectors by selling exhibition space ("Book a Stand") and premium sponsorship packages. The successful candidate will be a skilled hunter, capable of managing a full sales cycle and cultivating long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

I. Revenue Generation & Sales Execution

Achieve and exceed ambitious individual and team sales targets for both exhibitions stand space and sponsorship packages.

Develop a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, cold-calling, market research, and lead generation, focusing on both local and international companies in the smart home ecosystem.

Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and pitch presentation to contract negotiation and final closing.

Prepare compelling, customized proposals for exhibitors, detailing stand options, value propositions, and available add-ons.

II. Account Management & Retention

Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with existing and past exhibitors to ensure high rates of client retention and secure multi-year commitments.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling premium locations, bespoke sponsorship activations, and integrated digital marketing packages.

Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, coordinating their needs with the Operations and Marketing teams.

III. Market Insight & Strategy

Stay informed on industry trends, competitive events, and key company developments within the smart home and consumer electronics markets to refine the sales strategy.

Accurately forecast sales revenue and provide regular reports and pipeline updates to senior management.

Represent the Smart Home Tech Show brand professionally at industry networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Demonstrated ability to meet and consistently exceed substantial sales quotas and revenue targets.

Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, with a persuasive and confident communication style.

Strong understanding of the sales process, from cold-calling to contract finalisation.

A high degree of self-motivation, organisation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Marketing Specialist to lead the strategic planning and execution of all marketing campaigns for the Smart Home Tech Show. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event marketing, digital strategy, public relations, and a passion for the smart home and consumer technology sectors. This role is crucial in driving visitor attendance, enhancing brand visibility, and supporting exhibitor success.

Key Responsibilities

I. Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategy and budget to achieve aggressive visitor attendance targets and brand objectives for the show.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in smart home technology and event promotion.

Define target audience segments (e.g., homeowners, tech enthusiasts, industry professionals) and tailor messaging accordingly.

II. Digital Marketing & Content

Lead all digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, email marketing (EDMs), and paid social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) to maximize ticket sales and pre-registrations.

Oversee the maintenance and content strategy for the official event website (smarthometechshow.com.sg).

Manage content creation, including press releases, blog posts, video scripts, and marketing collateral highlighting key show features (e.g., Sure-Win Draw, Smart Home Tour, exclusive Hossey Deals).

Analyze campaign performance data (KPIs, ROI) using Google Analytics and social media insights, providing actionable reports and continuously optimizing campaigns.

III. Public Relations & Media

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media partners (print, digital, and broadcast), including media featured partners like Channel 8, The Straits Times, Hardware Zone, etc.

Secure high-impact press coverage, interviews, and features leading up to and during the event.

Manage the media registration process and on-site media centre operations.

IV. Exhibitor & Partnership Marketing

Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to develop marketing toolkits and opportunities for participating brands (e.g., Samsung, LG, Daikin, Philips, Aqara).

Work with strategic partners and sponsors on co-branded marketing initiatives and cross-promotions to expand reach.

Manage the execution of key show highlights like the Smart Home Tour and Trade-In Programme from a marketing perspective.

V. Operational Management

Oversee the design and production of all marketing materials, including the Digital Brochure, on-site signage, and print advertisements.

Manage relationships with creative agencies, media buyers, and printing vendors.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, with proven experience in event marketing, consumer exhibitions, or trade shows.

Demonstrable expertise in managing end-to-end digital marketing campaigns (PPC, Social Media Ads, SEO, Email Marketing).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and Mandarin/other local languages is a plus, given the Singapore market).

Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights platforms).

Strong project management, organizational, and budget management skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
