Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager by resolving technical issues, managing submissions, scheduling tasks, and coordinating inspections to maintain project progress
• Supervise daily construction activities on site by interpreting drawings, managing materials, and enforcing safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate effectively with architects, contractors, clients, subcontractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
• Inspect construction sites to verify adherence to engineering and design specifications, identifying and addressing deviations promptly
• Prepare detailed reports including daily logs, progress updates, and method statements to document project status and processes
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot on-site technical difficulties to maintain workflow and project standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant local construction project experience

We are seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to design, develop, and oversee mechanical and electrical system installations, ensuring compliance with regulations, codes, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise mechanical and electrical installation, testing, and commissioning to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to identify and resolve technical issues and discrepancies
• Monitor project progress to ensure M&E contract works meet industry standards, codes, and safety requirements
• Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure M&E works are completed within allocated resources
• Oversee internal and external contractors to maintain quality and scope of work within specifications
• Develop, track, and report on project schedules, material submissions, and shop drawings

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
