Job Summary

Support the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of network infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operations. Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting, optimization, and security tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Monitor network performance and report issues or anomalies
• Support troubleshooting of network connectivity and performance problems
• Help maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configurations
• Assist in implementing basic network security measures (e.g., firewall rules, access controls)
• Perform routine checks, upgrades, and maintenance tasks on network systems
• Support incident response efforts by collecting logs and helping with initial analysis
• Work with senior engineers to implement network improvements and upgrades
• Assist in configuring load balancers and managing traffic flow under guidance
• Follow established procedures and best practices for network operations
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve user and system network-related issues

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• 0–2 years of networking experience (internship or project experience is acceptable)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
• Familiarity with Cisco or similar networking technologies is a plus
• Basic knowledge of network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs)
• Willingness to learn SDN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Entry-level certifications such as CCNA are a plus

Responsibilities

• Participate in deploying, installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting infrastructure, network, and security solutions to meet project requirements
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals, meet deadlines, and fulfill service-level expectations
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, implementation steps, and support activities for knowledge sharing and future reference
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and stakeholders to resolve issues and provide updates
• Contribute to internal guides, SOPs, and project learnings to support team knowledge sharing
• Meet individual performance targets (KPIs) and uphold high service quality standards
• Execute technical tasks and service requests assigned by team leads or project managers, ensuring timely and quality delivery
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to resolve customer issues, escalating complex problems appropriately
• Stay current with new technologies, product features, and best practices relevant to assigned domains
• Develop technical skills continuously through hands-on experience, training, and mentorship

Required competencies and certifications

• NITEC or higher qualification in Information Technology or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in an IT-related role, preferably in a corporate environment
• Basic troubleshooting of software and application issues to support end users effectively
• Familiarity with basic IT technologies and user support tools to assist in daily operations
• Knowledge of basic networking, operating systems, and virtualization concepts to support infrastructure tasks
• Strong communication skills to interact clearly with users and team members
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

RoleDescription

·     Responsible for network engineering and operation,high-level network planning, design, and optimization.

·     Provide support to stabilize, monitor andtroubleshoot network infrastructure including hardware and software as well assecurity device/ service such as firewall and load-balancer.

·     Define best practices for the deployment andoperation of the network solutions, improving the design and implementation ofthese processes.

·     Experience developing network architecture anddesign, develop network infrastructure

·     Implement, maintain and control networksecurity, cloud security, identity and access management. Analyze and recommendnetwork/security controls and procedures.

·     Plan and support security design/remediation anddisaster recovery activities. Respond to security incidents, includinginvestigation and recovery.

·     Build and maintenance on network security,architect and operation optimization; Deploy, troubleshoot, monitor andmaintain the corporate network;

·     Cooperate with other teams to troubleshoot andsolve incidents.

·     Shape services engagements to develop maturestatements of work and engage customers to identify business and technicalrequirements.

·     Monitors network performance ensures capacityplanning is performed and is proactive in assessing and making recommendationsfor improvement.

Requirements

·     Bachelor degree/Diploma or above majored inComputer Science, IT related areas or related equivalent experience;

·     5+ years of networking experience with 2+ yearsof experience on network security and design/architect;

·     In-depth knowledge of network security and loadbalance with extensive experience in relevant projects;

·     Network security skill, familiar withinternational and industry security standards and regulations;

·     Strong sense of defining, improving andcomplying with the standard processes and procedures;

·     Good knowledge of collaboration, wireless, routing,SDN，SDWAN and/or application delivery networking;

·     Strong knowledge and skill of internal andinternet load balance configuration ;

·     Proficient communication in English and Chinese,written and verbal;

·     Have a deep knowledge of the followingtechnologies. Cisco Routing and Switching technologies, Wireless technologies, RoutingProtocols, Network Diagramming tools,

·     CCNP, CCIE is preferred.
