Objective of the position:
To drive profitable growth and commercial excellence across the region by translating strategy into execution, optimizing pricing and sales performance and enabling data-driven decision-making through standardized processes, tools and cross-functional collaboration.
Strategic Projects & Analyses
- To support definition and implementation of segment strategies together with Regional Key Industry Managers (KIMs)
- To act as Project Management Office (PMO) for regional and local strategy implementation (OKR roll-out and monitoring)
- to provide regional update of strategic business plan including deviation analysis
- To develop business cases and facilitate data-driven decision making for strategic initiatives, go-to-market strategies, commercial policies and incentive plans
- To conduct Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
- To drive and support cross-country and cross-functional collaboration on key business topics, best practises, ensuring cohesive commercial strategies and execution
- To conduct analysis together with Controlling, Human Resources, Product Management to support business management decisions (business development, portfolio management, sales efficiency, etc.)
Pricing
- To develop and communicate pricing guidance as input for countries and their owned price process
- To increase transparency on raw material cost impacts on finished goods. Margin monitoring and proposal of corrective measures to be communicated towards regional business management
- To prepare price argumentation material and provide to country sales and KIM/KAM organization
- To monitor implementation of pricing strategy
Channel Management
- To analyze and evaluate the performance of sales channels, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring consistent execution across all channels
- To monitor implementation of channel management project and business rules
- To develop plan for key strategic distributors for APAC in coordination with Distribution Management function and regional business management
Digitalization
- To represent and drive projects for Digitalization projects within APAC region
- To act as key focal point for business rules implementation and best practise exchange for key tools (e.g. Salesforce, VISTA, etc.). Improve data quality in Salesforce
