PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The “HR Generalist” will report to the Head of HR and be an integral member of the HR team to effectively support the manufacturing site in day to day HR operational matters. He/she will provide HR services including but not limited to HR administrative support, recruitment, payroll, employee welfare benefits management, employee relations and retention as well as support training and development, performance and talent management, and employee engagement initiatives. The “HR Generalist” will support the roll out of HR initiatives for continuous improvement of employee engagement to meet business strategies. He/she will be actively working with other members in the HR Operations team in close collaboration with HR Business partner, business stakeholders, HR Center of Expertise team (ie TA, L&D) as well as the Global HR Shared Services team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Support the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations at the manufacturing site in adherence to local labor and statutory laws, relevant HR policies and procedures
• Provide operational HR support related to recruitment, new hire onboarding, off-boarding, payroll, employee welfare benefits, HR administrative support, training and development, performance and talent management
• Contribute to the development, roll-out and monitoring of HR policies/ programs and employee engagement initiatives incompliance with company’s values and behavioral standards
• Support employees in consultative guidance on HR policies, practices and employee relations matters
• Ensure monthly payroll reports are submitted to local payroll vendor and Finance team in accurate and timely manner
• Support recruitment activities as assigned by Senior HR Operations Specialist to ensure that recruitment needs are met in accordance with organizational manpower plan
• Assist with recruiting events such as career/job fairs as well attend recruiting events (ie. industry talks at universities/colleges) and industry conferences
• Maintain and build effective relationship with employees, internal and external key stakeholders and provide reliable HR service delivery
• First point of contact for employee relations matters while working closely with the Senior HR Operations Specialist on investigation, resolving and mediating employee concerns, grievances or disputes
• Support preparation and submission of monthly, yearly and ad hoc HR Management reports and internal/external HR related surveys
• Ensure HR data integrity and accuracy of data and records in HR databases (SAP, SuccessFactors, e-Leave Management System, Employee Master Data) and HR admin processes (personnel files, work pass application/renewal, etc)
• Support and evaluate continuous improvement of innovative HR process, policies and strategies
• Support HR initiatives and HR projects in collaboration with other HR Team members

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:     

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or equivalent

Experience:   

• At least 3 years of work experience in day to day HR Operations, recruitment, payroll, employee relations, performance and talent management,
• Experience working in manufacturing operations environment is preferred
• Proven track record of meeting and exceedin gexpectations in a results-measured environment delivering effective stakeholder management and outstanding customer service
• Experience working with SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, payroll or other data management systems is an advantage
• Strong knowledge and experience in local employment laws and current HR practices/trends

The Global Category Sourcing Lead is responsible for global category management of raw materials and procurement activities for direct and indirect materials require in Research & Development locally. This includes the strategic relationship, the contracting, performance review, and improvement of the supply base. 

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of global sourcing strategies and global supplier network capabilities for assigned categories to achieve key business goals: Time to Market, Cost Reduction, Lead Time Reduction and Supplier Business Continuity in ramp-up and ramp-down situations.
• Communicates commodity strategies across the organization, the Business Units and NPI Operations to ensure sourcing decisions and product development aligns with strategic supplier selections.
• Formulate negotiation strategy to proactively drive cost reduction with suppliers in a complex, high mix/ low volume environment to meet strategic, operational and financial performance targets.
• Total commodity ownership, including supplier relationship management in alignment with the needs of the business, the global supply strategy and specific commodity strategies. Inclusive of actively approaching the supplier market by means of investigating, screening, pre-selection of and negotiation with new or alternative suppliers for a product group/line of business.
• Responsible for total supplier performance: Measure and manage vs. key targets, compliance to agreements and implementing improvement roadmaps to address gaps.
• Work effectively with internal stakeholders cross-functionally and cross-regionally, as well as those of external partnerships who are critical to meeting key objectives.
• Maintain and provide current understanding on industry and technology trends for the assigned categories.
• Acting as interface between suppliers and business regarding tactical issues, pricing, quality while maintaining continuity of supply by taking ownership of tactical issues, facilitating work through others, and driving the team to closure.
• Act as a Procurement Business Partner to the R&D function locally to proactively understand up to date  business needs and requirements and provide sourcing activities accordingly or link back the needs to the rest of category lead globally for further actions.

Your Profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or similar field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing or similar high technology manufacturing environment.
• You must have worked for at least 5 years in Procurement or Commodity management, with demonstrated increase of responsibilities.
• Experience in raw material sourcing in adhesive/plastic/metal or related category . Operational background a plus.
• Good knowledge of mechanical parts and ability to read and understand technical drawings & specifications.
• Experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Must have knowledge in SAP MM Modules.
• Strong in negotiation skills with vendors and able to write contracts with vendors.

The Senior Technician (Equipment Engineering) is responsible, as member of the Operations Engineering team, to provide technical support for production operations in meeting output and quality. This includes transfer, documentation and repair. Furthermore, the Senior Technician will support the Equipment Engineer in required installation and training activities to ensure the processes will be correctly operated. Also, his/her expertise will be required to optimize the infrastructure of the facility.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide first level troubleshooting and resolve production stoppages due to equipment issues.
• Minimise equipment downtime and ensure production meets target output and yield.
• Document and report all production line stoppages due to equipment or technical issues.
• Monitor machine output and ensure the required standards are met.
• Replenish production auxiliary materials and tools in the respective workstations.
• Perform process control check where necessary.

Your Profile

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing the direct staff of all production units within a designated shift. He/she coordinates the daily production floor activities and delegates assignments to production teams and individuals.

The Shift Supervisor manages the smooth running of the production processes to enhance product quality and maximise efficiency and performance enabling the products to be manufactured on time.

The Shift Supervisor will ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications; target and deadlines are met. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures; and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Your Responsibilities

• To take responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff, management of production processes and quality targets
• Manage and motivate direct reporting employees by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce the adherence to standard operating procedures, policies and procedures
• Set SMART individual targets and conduct employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions
• Plan, approve and administer the absence and leave planning of the production floor personnel; monitor and enforce working time, breaks and attendance

Your Profile

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent
• Continuing education in Production Management will be preferred
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experiences in the medical device technology or pharmaceutical industry in supervisory capacity in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a clean room environment will be advantageous
• Good understanding of production and manufacturing processes and techniques
• Basic knowledge of Six Sigma will be advantageous
• Familiar with ISO13485 and GMP

Production Assembly Operator is in charge of executing the production processes in a production environment. They have to be able to independently execute those tasks and are actively involved in achieving the production objectives. In order to do this they also need to actively follow the established Kaizen processes and the corresponding Working Instructions. Production Assembly Operator will be trained on multiple processes and have successfully completed a cross training. Production Assembly Operator is measured by achieving the given objectives in terms of quality, quantity and according to the deadlines. Your Responsibilities

• Follows the currently valid guidelines (e.g. working instructions, process descriptions, hygiene rules, environmental protection guidelines, cGMP, clear table policies)
• Independent execution of different process steps and surveillance of process execution according to written working instructions, according to the training level of the employee
• Notifies the supervisor of any observed discrepancies (process and quality discrepancies, security breaches, outdated calibration data, deviations in the documentation)
• Maintains a correct and conform documentation (e.g. when completing move tickets or inspection protocols)

The Logistics Technician supports daily logistics operations. This is a hands‑on role involving receiving of inbound shipment, picking, packing and arranging outbound shipment, warehouse storage and material transfer to production. The job requires frequent use of SAP and Microsoft Office to record and track material movements accurately.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials; perform Goods Receipt (GR) and related SAP transactions
• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for shipment; complete SAP delivery and Goods Issue (GI) transactions
• Move pallets and materials safely using pallet jacks, trolleys, or MHE
• Transfer materials to production lines (shopfloor)and perform material transfer postings in SAP
