• Elicit and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing specifications.
• Manage stakeholders actively to align expectations, specify requirements within the
solution platform's capabilities, communicate progress, and prevent deviations
from the tender-defined scope, thereby minimizing scope creep.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, or models like UML/BPMN for developers.
• Support solution design, testing (including UAT), and implementation by validating
requirements against predefined scope.
• Manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle, rigorously evaluating impacts on tender specifications before approval.
• Provide post-implementation support, training, and enhancements to ensure ongoing
system value without scope expansion.
Requirements:
• More than 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software
projects, including requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing stakeholders to minimize scope creep and ensure
requirements align with predefined tender specifications and solution platform
capabilities.
Preferred:
IIBA certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, or PMI-PBA).
Advanced degree such as MBA or MS in business analytics.
Preferred:
Entry-level Project Management certification.
Working experience in Government of Singapore projects.
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and scripting
(Python/R).
Proficiency in technical skills like SQL, Excel, BPMN/UML modelling, and SDLC
methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
Familiarity with NewGen and Java technologies or similar platforms.
