Associate– Insolvency & Restructuring
We invite applications for the position of Associate within our Insolvency & Restructuring practice. This role is open to fresh graduates and individuals with up to 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or insolvency.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Assist in insolvency and restructuring engagements under the guidance of senior team members.
§ Prepare documentation for conflict checks and case initiation.
§ Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and records.
§ Review past transactions and support investigations into underlying causes of insolvency.
§ Support communication with stakeholders including directors, shareholders, debtors, creditors, and government agencies.
§ Assist in asset recovery activities.
§ Develop a working knowledge of prevailing insolvency laws and regulatory frameworks.
§ Provide administrative support to Directors and Managers, including time reporting, billing, and documentation tracking.
Candidate Requirements:
§ Degree in Accountancy (Finance or Business graduates with strong performance in accounting modules may also be considered).
§ Pursuit of professional accounting qualifications will be viewed favorably.
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
§ Strong command of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
§ Analytical, resourceful, meticulous, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
§ Commitment to ethics, quality, and meeting deadlines.
