Key Responsibilities

• Develop and follow up with prospective and existing clients, recommend suitable professional services, and identify opportunities for renewals, upselling, and cross-selling.

Job Responsibilities

The Production Technician technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment such as twin screw extruder, mixers and pelletizers. Ensure that equipment is operated safely, efficiently and product quality that meet customers’ requirements. Can do simple equipment and facility repairing as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Follow standard operating procedures to carry out daily production tasks such as loading/unloading packaged chemicals, pre-weighing raw materials, monitoring and feeding equipment, and packing finished goods.

• Operate, troubleshoot, and perform general preventive maintenance on extruders, mixers and related production equipment.

• Conduct basic QA testing and analysis to ensure product quality standards are met.

• Collaborate closely with the team to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime and scrap.

• Perform raw material cycle counts to maintain accurate on-site inventory control.

• Learn new processes and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.

• Work independently during plant trial runs and provide technical support where required

• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safety compliance in the production area.

• Identify and address downtime and efficiency issues, document and implement processes, and support process improvements and new technologies.

• Possess knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Train manufacturing personnel on proper procedures when required.

• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least five years of experience in a chemical/compounding plant or a similar environment.

• Preferably experienced in operating and maintaining twin screw extruders.
