1. Course Design & Teaching
· Develop and deliver science lessons aligned with international and local curricula, including AEIS, IB, IGCSE, O/A Level, and PSLE.
· Cover topics across Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Science, ensuring a strong conceptual foundation.
· Use inquiry-based learning, hands-on experiments, and real-world applications to enhance student engagement.
· Integrate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) principles into the curriculum.
2. Academic Support
· Develop individualized learning plans to strengthen students’ scientific knowledge and critical thinking skills.
· Conduct formative and summative assessments to track progress and provide targeted feedback.
· Train students in scientific reasoning, data interpretation, and problem-solving techniques for major exams.
· Encourage students to develop scientific curiosity and independent research skills.
3. Student Management & Parent Communication
· Maintain consistent communication with students and parents, offering feedback on progress and performance.
· Support students in completing experiments, projects, and science reports.
· Foster an interactive learning environment that encourages questions and deep exploration of scientific concepts.
4. Teaching Research & Team Collaboration
· Contribute to the development of curriculum materials, lab activities, and research-based projects.
· Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary STEM projects and science fairs.
· Stay updated with emerging trends in science education, research advancements, and new teaching strategies.
5. Additional Responsibilities
· Participate in science competitions, academic conferences, workshops, and school enrichment programs.
· Perform additional duties assigned by the organization.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Education, or a related field.
· Teaching certifications (e.g., MOE-registered teacher, STEM education certification) are an advantage.
· Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience; prior experience with international curricula is preferred.
· Familiarity with PSLE, AEIS, IB, IGCSE, or equivalentexam requirements.
· Proficiency in conducting experiments, analyzing scientific data, and applying scientific theories.
· Experience with digital lab simulations, interactive whiteboards, and online teaching platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom).
