Role Overview

The team in Singapore is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager / Business Analyst Consultant to support a regional data privacy and Asset Management integration programme within the banking sector.

The consultant will work closely with Data Office, Business, Legal, Compliance, IT, Operations, Data Protection and regional/global stakeholders to support project delivery, governance enhancement, privacy documentation, risk assessments and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as Project Manager / Business Analyst for regional data privacy and Asset Management initiatives.
- Support the enhancement of the Personal Data Protection governance framework, including policies, procedures, playbooks, governance forums and operating processes.
- Perform gap analysis between existing regional frameworks and Asset Management-specific requirements.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, Data Office, Legal, Compliance, IT teams, Data Protection Officers and central/global teams.
- Support the identification and documentation of personal data processing activities across regional entities.
- Assist Processing Owners in creating, updating and maintaining privacy documentation in relevant Group tools.
- Support privacy assessments such as PAQ, TIA, LIA and DPIA.
- Review business and IT change triggers, including third-party risk, new activity approval, outsourcing and IT service validation processes.
- Support the improvement of consent collection and Data Protection Notice processes.
- Prepare project governance materials including project plan, roadmap, RACI, KPIs/KRIs/KSIs, dashboards, steering committee packs and meeting minutes.
- Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and remediation actions.
- Prepare training materials and support awareness sessions for business and operational stakeholders.


Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst or PM/BA in banking or financial services.
• Experience in data privacy, data governance, regulatory, compliance or risk-related initiatives.
• Good understanding of Asset Management, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking or regional banking operating models.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, governance, reporting, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong business analysis skills, including requirement gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and documentation.
• Ability to work with senior business, IT, Legal, Compliance, Data Office and regional/global stakeholders.
• Good understanding of privacy assessments, personal data inventories, data flows, third-party risk or regulatory documentation.
• Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills.
• Proactive, structured and able to manage complexity across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Hands-on experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira or similar collaboration tools.
• SQL or data analysis experience would be an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with APAC banking regulatory or data privacy programmes.
• Knowledge of Asset Management operations and data protection requirements.
• Exposure to Records of Processing Activities, data protection tools or data quality improvement exercises.
• Previous experience with large international banking environments.

Our Opportunity:

The Sr. Manager, Franchise Strategy & Corporate Development, Tim Hortons & Firehouse Subs, APAC is responsible for driving the financial performance and turnaround of existing master franchise partners across Asia-Pacific, while also supporting the sourcing, structuring, and execution of new franchise development and refranchising opportunities to accelerate growth in the region.

The role will manage one direct report based in Singapore and will have significant exposure to senior RBI leadership.

The role is expected to be approximately 60% profitability and turnaround of existing markets and 40% franchise development and investor sourcing. Demonstrated profitability and financial analysis capability is the entry credential; development capability is what will distinguish strong candidates.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.

Your roles and responsibilities:

Franchise Profitability (≈60%)

• Own the Franchise Profitability KPI for Tim Hortons & Firehouse Subs in the APAC region and drive year-over-year improvement at restaurant and corporate level.
• Conduct in-depth profitability analyses, identifying root causes of underperformance and quantifying improvement opportunities.
• Collect, validate, and analyze franchisee financial information from country teams and partners across APAC, ensuring data quality and consistency with RBI’s reporting structure.
• Lead profitability turnaround initiatives with franchisee finance and operations teams, from diagnostic through implementation and tracking.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly profitability and funding reports, and board-ready presentations for RBI’s leadership and franchisee senior management.
• Develop and standardize profitability analytics, dashboards, and best practices across markets, and supply the development workstream with unit economics insights.

Franchise Development (≈40%)

• Source new external investors and operators to enter the Tim Hortons & Firehouse Subs systems as long-term master franchise partners in APAC, including greenfield markets.
• Identify and lead re-franchising opportunities with existing portfolio partners, including portfolio rationalization, sub-franchising, and partner transitions.
• Build investment cases, market entry business plans, and unit economic models for new market entries and re-franchising transactions.
• Prepare and support investor pitches, and lead selected workstreams within deal processes from origination through term sheet, diligence, and documentation.
• Support Master franchising deals negotiations alongside senior leadership, internal and external legal counsel, and coordinate diligence across business, legal, tax, and accounting teams.
• Contribute to  Tim Hortons & Firehouse Subs APAC yearly strategic priorities, development pipeline planning, and G&A budget setting.

Your skills and experience:

• 5–10 years of professional experience with demonstrated capability across both financial analysis / profitability improvement and transaction or business development work.
• Strong profitability and finance foundation - prior experience in finance, corporate strategy, transaction services, investment banking, M&A execution, or top-tier management consultancy.
• Demonstrated deal or business development exposure - experience sourcing, structuring, or executing transactions, partnerships, or franchise/licensing agreements will be an asset.
• Prior working experience in the APAC region is required.
• At least Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering. MBA is an asset.
• Strong communication skills — ability to collaborate with all functions across all RBI brands; to build close relationships with investors/operators of any background; to engage with senior RBI leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Tableau or equivalent BI tools is required.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and able to operate independently.
