Job Summary:
The Inventory Controller is responsible for tracking and maintaining accurate records of raw materials, production output, wastage, and finished goods inventory. This role ensures that all stock movements from chiller or freezer storage, production, and retail outlets are properly recorded and reconciled.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Tracking
Record raw materials taken from freezer / chiller for production
Track production output and wastage
Monitor finished goods inventory levels
Update inventory records in Excel
2. Production Monitoring
Record daily production quantities
Track yield and wastage during production
Investigate any stock discrepancies
3. Retail Outlet Inventory
Record stock transfers from factory to retail outlets
Track daily sales quantities
Record wastage or expired products at outlets
Reconcile stock balances
4. Stock Reconciliation
Perform daily / weekly stock checks
Investigate differences between physical stock and system records
Prepare inventory reports for management
5. Reporting
Prepare reports such as:
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field.
- 1+ year of experience in inventory control or production tracking.
- Experience in food manufacturing / FMCG preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
