Responsibilities:
· Ensure alignment in Division and group Affiliates with HQ’s policies and financial growth targets for Unit
· Provide mid/long term recommendations to HQ’s senior management on Affiliate’s corporate/financial affairs & investment policies
· Expand and enhance HQ’s networking in Algeria including but not limited to local shareholders, government entities and commercial entities
· Lead the liaison with the Algerian local representative office to promote HQ’s agenda especially for Affiliate concession extension
· Ensure adherence in Affiliate to HQ’s corporate compliance and internal controls
· Advise HQ management in term of current culture, business and political environment in Algeria
· Perform other work instruction as directed by Superior/Management
Requirements:
· At least Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering / Business studies / Maritime related studies
· Min 10 years working experience in port industry and 5 years in port equipment engineering or port operation business
· Experience in taking responsibility as CEO or senior executive management in businesses is viewed as favorable
· Ability to succeed in highly complex, stressful and dynamic environment.
· Ability to strategize and solve problems with strong analytical, strategic and conceptual thinking skills
· Excellent communication skills to work with senior management and stakeholders
· In depth knowledge of Algeria business environment
· Familiarity with financial reporting and/or financial modelling will be an advantage.
· English as primary working language, advance French would be advantageous to communicate and support with the group Affiliates (eg, Africa)
· Proficient in the use of MS Office
