Role Overview
The Facilities & Control Room Support Executive will be stationed onsite at the client’s Facility Control Centre (FCC) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of all control room infrastructure and equipment.
This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance vendors, managing basic infrastructure administration (e.g., cabling and workspace setup), and providing first-level onsite support during working hours.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facilities & Equipment Management
- Oversee daily operations of FCC equipment including:Video wall systemsOperator workstations and consolesKVM / control room systemsNetwork and AV-related infrastructure
- Perform routine checks to ensure all systems are operational and report any abnormalities
2. Vendor Coordination & Management
- Act as the primary onsite liaison for all maintenance vendors
- Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Track vendor performance and ensure SLAs are met
- Supervise onsite works to ensure compliance with site requirements and safety standards
3. Incident & Support Management
- Provide first-level onsite support during working hours
- Log, track, and follow up on incidents until resolution
- Escalate issues to relevant vendors or internal teams when required
- Support troubleshooting activities with vendors and stakeholders
4. Administration & Infrastructure Support
- Maintain proper documentation of FCC assets and configurations
- Manage basic infrastructure tasks such as:Cabling organisation and labellingPatch panel and connectivity trackingWorkspace and equipment allocation
- Ensure housekeeping and organisation of control room technical areas
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain logs of incidents, maintenance activities, and vendor visits
- Prepare periodic reports on system status and issues
- Ensure all documentation is updated and aligned with operational requirements
6. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all activities comply with client policies, security requirements, and safety standards
- Support audits and inspections when required
Working Hours
- Standard office hours (e.g., Monday to Friday)
- May be required to support extended hours or standby arrangements when needed
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in:Facilities operations, control room, or data centre environmentsAV / video wall / KVM systems (preferred)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Basic technical knowledge of:IT networks and cablingAV or control room systems
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and tasks simultaneously
- Good documentation and organisational skills
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently onsite
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- Experience in mission-critical environments (e.g., FCC, SOC, OCC, NOC)
- Familiarity with ticketing or incident management systems
- Basic understanding of SNMP monitoring or system health checks
