CONTEXTE, STAKES AND CHALLENGES

Part of the Global Business Unit Land and Air Systems (LAS)within Thales Group, Thales AMS (Airspace Mobility Solutions) is providing leading edge airspace control and security solutions for the commercial and defense sectors, as well as digital solutions for Unmanned Traffic Management(UTM) and Digital Aviation.

The AMS Business Line is undergoing a set of major challenges, airspace is becoming increasingly saturated, new regulations are being put in place, UTM is emerging as a new domain to tackle the challenge of the integration of new airspace users, such as drones and UAS.

UTM is a digital ecosystem of services (within a defined regulatory framework),  provided to ANSPs, Airspace Managers and directly to UAS Operators themselves that manage visual-line-of-sight and beyond-visual-line-of-sight UAS operations.

Thales TopSky - AstraUTM Product line combines modular software, physical infrastructure, and premium services to enable efficient and scalable UAS integration.

The UTM team is has successfully delivered and is delivering number of projects and service contracts in the USA, in Europe and in theMiddle-East with Civil Aviation Authorities, Air Navigation Services Providers,Public Agencies, Airspace Managers and Drone Services Operators to safely andsecurely introduce UAS/AAM operations.

Now, the ambition is to expand in Asia Pacific, starting with Singapore, where Thales has been awarded a UTM contract for the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.

The position is aiming at contributing, first and foremost, to the well-execution of our contractual obligations to the Customer. It requires an experienced, motivated and self-driven technical leader to join our core team contribute to our success in a very dynamic and fast-evolving sector.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES)

Role description :

Project Design Authority is responsible for Solution Compliance for Project.

Responsibilities :

•            Support capture, bid and project team to understand the context and customer needs and defines the initial needs baseline;

•            Acts as the primary technical leader of the project team.

•            Acts as lead technical interface with the Customer as regards Solution architecture, design and performance

•            Assess alternative solutions.

•            Ensures the feasibility of the Solution including:

o            adequacy of the solution in term of architecture and technology maturity with respect to solution requirements,

o            consistency of the Solution with the Product Policy and Make-Team-Buy strategy,

o            feasibility with respect to cost, schedule, skills, resources and industrial organization,

o            compliance with the contractual requirements (including offsets) and applicable legislation & regulations (ie export restrictions, Environmental/HSE, safety, security..),

o            risk assessment and the related mitigation plan.

•            Ensures that the production and maintenance/service aspects of the Solution are taken into account in terms of: Manufacturability, Maintainability, Consistency between Non-Recurring & Recurring/Production costs.

•            Ensures, with the support of Specialty Engineering experts that the Solution design takes into account the contract requirements and the applicable legislation, rules and regulations, including product safety & security and Environmental/HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements and standards, that the related certification activities are performed correctly;

•            Prepare and Sign the Design Validation (Dva) and Reports regularly to the DA on technical status and on technical risks;

•            Takes into account the remarks from the DA as regards the validity of the Solution and the risk assessment and mitigation

•            Alerts in a timely manner the PM and DA as needed.

•            Approves the main bid/project Engineering Reviews and approves the main Engineering deliverables at each project decision milestone.

More precisely in the context of the project

•            Understand and translate customer needs and orient solution to comply with the product architecture and roadmap,

•            Master project technical requirements,

•            Ensure technical interface with customer until delivery and deployment

•            Identifies and reviews the technical risks and opportunities and the related mitigation plans throughout the project

•            Organizes appropriate technical meetings and peer reviews in order to perform the Solution or Solution Element technical assessment and validation

QUALIFICATION

Experience required

•            5+ years experience in similar positions on projects delivering software-centric systems.

•            Good experience in the UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) or ATM (Air Traffic Management) Domain and knowledge of relative standards

•            Experience in managing diverse stakeholders with different objectives

•            Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and with international customers

•            Experience in Product driven model, Product Line Engineering and Lean/Agile Engineering

•            Ability to drive and formalize retained architecture, design constraints, key and critical topics, key functional and non-functional requirements

•            SaaS and Cloud based solution

Knowledge / Skills

•            Stakeholder Relationship Management

•            Ability to ensure accountability, to create customer intimacy and to build trust

•            Critical thinking and Analysis capacity (ability to evaluate issue or situation to qualify the issue or situation)

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in the construction or M&E industry inSingapore
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM modelling will be an added advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate M&E works on construction projects
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, BIM/Revit models, as-built drawings, andconstruction drawings
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers

Summary/Objective

Reporting to the SGM BD of JERA Asia, the Manager, Business Development will be responsible for greenfield, brownfield, mergers & acquisition (M&A)power/energy projects portfolio development particularly in the area of thermal and LNG infrastructure related opportunities, to include all supporting development work-streams and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, risk management required in relevant project development, and coordination and collaboration with all related functions (e.g. development, financing, technical etc.). The individual will work directly with the SGM BD and other members of the business development team (including JERA HQ as well as local office members in Asia) to support projects and maximize value creation associated with those projects and the resultant portfolio. The candidate will have demonstrated expertise in project development, merger and acquisitions, problem solving, meticulous organization and communicating and working with diverse functional groups.

Essential Functions

·      Support business development activities, including identification, evaluation, and execution of new opportunities across Asia and Oceania.

·      Assist in the preparation and review of contracts associated with power/energy projects, support in the development of contractual strategies aligned with project, regional, and market objectives.

·      Provide analytical support in pre- and post-deal commercial advice, including assessing of contractual and financial risks, and identifying opportunities to add value to the business.

·      Assist in project financing and deal structuring strategies.

·      Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across all development workstreams and support functions to minimize execution and operational risks.

·      Monitor and support management of Time Charter Party agreements and verify commercial reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

·      Assist in updating LNG market watch and support commercial activities within JERA Group companies.

What will you do?

To manage Business-As-Usual (BAU) support, governance and continuous improvement for Customer Feedback Management System (CFMS) built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role ensures the stability, performance, and effective utilisation of CRM to support digital services, including stakeholder engagement and feedback management.

• Oversee day-to-day BAU operations of the CFMS, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability
• Act as the primary point of contact for business users on CRM-related issues, service requests, and enhancements

• Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of system issues in collaboration with IT teams, vendors, and Government Technology Agency
