• Establish a standardized claim technical judgement and resolution workflow for global warranty team; and provide training to Regional Technical Support whenever required.
• Lead the warranty claim resolutions e.g. RMA & Goodwill; and propose recommended options to decision-making committees for approval.
• Monitor the warranty expenses, and ensure compliance to limited warranty terms, or unique liabilities from customer contracts and/or regional regulations and laws.
• Work with Customer Quality to manage the approval of related expenses in claim resolutions; and ensure appropriate and prompt charging to warranty provision or operation expenses account.
• Provide technical support in regional markets in technical requests and escalations.
• Handle the claim communication documents for external response to customers, e.g. statement letter.
• Product recall & Fire incident management – Lead the follow-up investigation by relevant stakeholders; and provide reaction plans to decision-making committees for approval.
• Warranty replacement management – Develop proposals in warranty product replacement business case for existing and end-of-life products; and handle replacement modules stock at respective global 3rd party warehouse(s).
• Review customers’ feedbacks from NPS on warranty claim servicing and quality; and evaluate the results with Customer Quality & Global Technical Support to take actions to sustain, retain and enhance levels of customer satisfaction.
• Review new customer contracts with Sales and Marketing, Legal and Customer Quality on warranty unique liability terms and customer specific requirements and provide recommendations.

Installation Deviation Request Management

• Manage installation deviation request activities and ensure timely release of installation waiver letter to Global Technical Sales Manager(s).
• Lead a cross-functional team (i.e. New Product Development, Technology, Quality, and Product Test and Certification) to evaluate the request, align the test plan & schedule, assess the test results, and provide recommendation to the RPDM.
• Create and release the waiver letter to Product Management team after RPDM approval.
• Report the status of the ongoing Installation Deviation Requests (IDRs) during Product Management Meeting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support in technical and compliance matters relating to financial statements audit, within a mid-tier audit firm. 
• Review and monitor Financial Statements Audit and Assurance Engagements to ensure that they comply with all applicable Pronouncements, including International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants (IESBA), and corporate regulations. 
• Review firm-wide policies, processes, and procedures to ensure that they comply with the International Standards of Quality Management (ISQM), and other authoritative pronouncements. 

Candidates for this role will be supporting the firm in achieving the following outcomes:

• Establishing policies and procedures within the Firm to ensure compliance with the above Pronouncements.
• Implementing and monitoring the Firm’s program to compliance with ISQM. 
• Planning and conducting risk assessments and quality control reviews on engagements, to ensure compliance with the above Pronouncements. 
• Validating that controls established by the Firm to comply with the Pronouncements are operating effectively and timely. 
• Analyzing and identifying gaps, and potential areas of improvement, in quality control procedures within the Firm to ensure compliance with the above Pronouncements, and proposing remediation plans.
• Conducting real-time reviews of financial statements audit and assurance engagements before audit opinions are signed. 
• Carrying out root cause analyses and monitoring effectiveness of action plans to address areas of weaknesses identified. 
• Training, coaching, developing and cultivating technical competencies to ensure capability of designated employees to maintain and comply with the Pronouncements. 
• Preparing and collating information/reports for regulatory and internal reviews and handle any related coordination work. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or other relevant disciplines. 
• Good knowledge of relevant professional pronouncements including IFRS, ISA, ISQM and IESBA. 
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in an audit and/or quality role, within a Public Accounting firm. 
• Candidates with experience in similar quality management roles are preferred.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to join our Sustaining Engineering (SE) Team.  You’ll be responsible for resolving technical issues, supporting manufacturing lines, identifying areas of cost reduction, managing schedules and coordinating change orders all as part of actively monitoring product lifecycles to keep them competitive.  This role demands flexibility and good communication skills as we have a wide variety and scope of projects that interface with many groups across the company and span multiple contract manufacturers and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Work as the technical and programmatic focal point and facilitator for Sustaining Engineering activities in our Malaysia office
• Prioritize highest value projects with US, SE team and organize resources against them; backlog other ideas to keep SE to-do lists lean
• Identify part, product and assembly issues quickly and work through root cause to resolution
• Prepare budgets, purchase orders and schedules as needed for SE projects 
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities at a part, product, assembly and calibration level
• Coordinate testing activities with engineers and the quality department to ensure product meets engineering and product specifications
• Manage, document and confirm product changes at multiple contract manufacturers; check and maintain consistency of solutions/updates across multiple CMs
• Ensure that management and stakeholders are notified of any potential schedule impacts
• Facilitate regular status meetings with both domestic and international teams.
• Ensure seamless communication with other functional areas (Ops and Planning, Sourcing, Process Engineering, Logistics, SW, etc.)
• Coordinate and manage supplier and contract manufacturing activities to deliver on project objectives.  Includes regular travel within Asia as needed (at least 4x/yr, can include travel to China, Malaysia and other areas of Asia)
