SCOPE OVERVIEW

• To support/enhance the Life Integral System in particular for Product Launch (Including Whole Life, Endowment and specifically Investment Link Products) and Day 2 enhancements.
• Able to work effectively with the internal IT & Business teams, as well as, vendor (where applicable) to meet the Initiatives/Change Request timelines
• Act as intermediary between Biz Users and Interfacing Systems, including translating business requirement into functional specification.
• Responsible for updates on system /project related activities.
• Understand functionalities and technical aspects of the system; analyze technical impact on interfacing systems.
• Provide system design solution, development of system design and technical documents, programming and Code Review
• Provide maintenance and ongoing enhancement and production support of the Life Integral system.
• Ensure that all application development performed is in –line with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT Governance & MAS requirements.
• Standardize SMART400 technology within IT
  

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field;
• At least 10 years of working experience in Insurance IT, in particular in the both conventional and ILP and Indexed Universal Life Product Launch domain.
• Experience in Integral Life, Life/Asia Application supporting product launches, major enhancements would be preferred
• Knowledge and Experience in Design, Solutioning and Development of Life Integral AS400 is required.

Responsibilities

1. Work closely with UAT Team Lead to ensure requirements and scope are clearly understood.
2. Conduct UAT testing for business deliverables including new markets or products, application decommissions, operational improvements, and industry-driven regulatory changes.
3. Assist Test Lead to track UAT issues, and publish daily EOD test status.
4. Perform end to end testing with full understanding of the Business Requirements and Functional Specs.
5. Communicate to UAT Team Lead on open issues and defects, run book execution progress, and risks.
6. Ensure UAT artifacts and sign-offs are saved as the UAT audit trail.
7. Learn and master TOSCA tool which is a software testing tool used to design test cases and automate end to end testing

Requirements

· Knowledge in at least on one of the following would be advantageous:
- Electronic Banking (e.g. internet banking)
- Channels Banking (e.g. File transfer service, SWIFTnet)

Role Overview

The Technical Analyst engineer is the engine room of the Client Experience department, reporting directly to the AI Lead. You will bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and business intelligence by building and maintaining the department’s automation stack—using Zendesk and Python—while applying AI/LLM knowledge to enhance support capabilities. You will also serve as the team’s data anchor, performing deep-dive financial reconciliations and building automated dashboards to drive data-led decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Automation & AI Integration
• Zendesk & SaaS Optimization: Architect and maintain Zendesk triggers, automations, and complex workflows;
• Python-Led Automation: Develop and deploy Python scripts to automate repetitive manual tasks.
• AI Feature Deployment: Implement and tune advanced AI features within SaaS, managing knowledge base training and basic RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) logic.
2. Data Tools & Reporting
• Advanced Data Analysis: Use tools extensively for high-stakes data cleaning, financial reconciliation, and analysis (advanced formulas and Power Query required).
• BI Dashboarding: Build and maintain automated reports to track KPIs and operational health.
• Management Reporting: Prepare regular operations and analysis reports, translating raw data into insights for Finance and Management teams.
3. Process Improvement & Collaboration
• Workflow Refinement: Support the optimization of processes, rules, and SOPs to improve efficiency, transparency, and internal control.
• Cross-functional Alignment: Work closely with Payment, Finance, IT, and Product teams to drive system improvements and handle security-related whitelisting or response tasks.

• Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with Zendesk Administration (workflows, triggers, and app integrations).

• Advanced Data Skills: Expert-level Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, and complex financial reconciliation); experience with SQL and BI tools.
• Automation & Scripting (Preferrable): Proficiency in Python for business process automation and data extraction; experience with APIs and Webhooks.
• AI Literacy (Preferrable): A foundational understanding of LLMs and how to apply them within a customer experience or operational framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with Master's degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in a Tier-1 Securities Firm (Equity Research) or Leading Investment House (PE/VC/Hedge Fund)
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a must as he or she will be required to communicate & prepare reports to Chinese Stakeholders
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
• Ability to interpret complex industry data, financial statements, and market trends
• Proven experience in technology industry research, drafting research reports, and supporting investment/strategic decisions

• Strong knowledge on the various Murex generated logs and trace the trades across the Murex tasks
• Good knowledge on the various configurations in Murex.
•  It would be important to have Murex Migration project experience with exposure to 3.1.42.48b to 3.1.6x.x
