In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the game’s networking architecture. As a Team Leader, AIT Engineering, you’ll lead the establishment and development of ICEYE’s Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) engineering capability in Tokyo while remaining hands-on in satellite integration and verification activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Tokyo AIT Engineering team while contributing directly to satellite integration and testing activities
• Oversee integration of RF subsystems, antennas, avionics, power systems, and electronics into higher level assemblies and full satellite builds

The team typically includes mechanical and electrical engineers and may work closely with a production program manager during manufacturing preparation. The squad owns one or more subsystems end-to-end—from concept development and feature upgrades to validation, and production readiness. The Engineering Manager provides technical direction and delivery of ownership while ensuring the subsystem can be reliably manufactured and deployed through close collaboration with supply chain and manufacturing partners. 

• Engineering Managers with Robotics Systems Specialization have two leadership paths.
