Key Responsibilities

• Daily Site Supervision: Coordinate day-to-day construction operations, ensuring structural/architectural work meets specifications.

• Safety Enforcement: Enforce all safety regulations (EHS standards) to prevent incidents.

• Team Leadership & Subcontractors: Supervise workers (NTS/PRC), manage schedules, and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.

• Progress Tracking & Reporting: Submit daily/weekly reports, document site progress, and track measurements.

• Quality Assurance: Inspect materials, tools, and finished work for compliance with project standards. 

Job Description:

• Take off quantities and participate in private and public project tenders;

• Periodically travel to site for site meetings, on-site measurement and data collection;

• Assess and submit monthly progressive claim and recommend subcontractors’ monthly progress payment;

• Evaluate and certify progress work done, includes contract administration for variations for both main contract and subcontract works;  

• Responsible to prepare necessary documentations from shortlisting to award contracts, process include evaluation, comparison, recommendation and award;

• Monitor records and manage all correspondences, meeting minutes, variation orders relevant to the Main Contractors, Subcontractors and Suppliers;

• Prepare method of statement and work procedure;

• Assist the project team in-coordination with consultants; safety personnel regarding safety related matters;

 • Do awarding of subcontracts and preparation of subcontracts related documents;

• Sourcing and purchasing of materials and related products needed for production;

• Finalise main contract and subcontract’s final account.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or equivalent;

• Minimum 1-2 years of local working experience in construction industry;

• Knowledge of AutoCad and Revit will be preferred;

• Well versed in both public and private Conditions of Contract used in Singapore;

• Strong negotiation, interpersonal skills and a team player;

• Meticulous in work and analytical skill in problem solving;

Job Descriptions:

• Review and understand project specifications, general requirements, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Report directly to QMR and Project Manager regarding all QAQC activities
• Assist QMR in updating any summary for all documents, drawings, letters, forms, and submissions
• Support QMR in the closing of reports for all audit-related documents, including ISO, safety, CONQUAS, cross project, client, and site audits
• Assist QMR to prepare quality documents PQP, ITP, Checklist, testing, mockup and material submission
• Ensure that the quality control is conducted efficiently and economically, in liaison with the Operations and Design Teams and other project staff responsible for quality control activities
• Monitor, track and arrange closure of all NCRs and NCNs
• Ensure that the project quality aligns with the company and project quality plan, highlighting any areas of concern to the QMR and Project Manager to maintain high-quality standards
• Assist in ensuring compliance with the project document management system, including document filing (both hard copy and e-filing) and managing documents on the server
• Assists QMR in the distribution and submission of documents and drawings to all clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and third parties
• Support QMR in the preparation of quality-related slides and updates to project team and company management
• Conduct quality inspections on-site for all activities involving clients, RE, RTO, and subcontractors
• Conduct on-site surveillance to monitor the quality of work and compliance with project specifications
• Assists QMR in the planning, organizing, and conducting of internal surveillance and follow-up audits to ensure continuous compliance
• Receive, check, and coordinate with Engineer on all materials and QAQC documentation (testing certificates, expiry date), delivery and ensure quality and quantity of materials, to report any discrepancies or deviations in materials
• Carryout/arrange internal quality audits including audits of suppliers, subcontractors and consultants as necessary
• Liaise with BCA and the production team
• Prepare monthly project reports to clients and internal stakeholders regarding quality metrics and performance
• Carryout any additional safety-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of QAQC experience in construction or civil engineering projects
• Experience in condominium projects will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of concrete technology, quality assurance, and quality control procedures
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
