This call is for a Curator position in Peranakan Art at the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) and the Peranakan Museum (TPM).

ACM is the only museum in the region devoted to exploring the rich artistic heritage of Asia, especially the ancestral cultures of Singaporeans. Opened in 1997 and in its present building by the Singapore River since 2003, the museum traces its roots to the Raffles Museum, founded in the middle of 19th century. ACM focuses on the many historical and artistic connections between the cultures of Asia, and between Asia and the world. Singapore’s history as a port city that brought people together from all over the world is used as a means of examining the history of Asia. Objects on display tell stories of the trade and the exchange of ideas that were the result of international commerce, as well as the flow of religions and faith through Asia.

TPM is managed by ACM and explores the art and culture of Peranakan communities in Southeast Asia. It possesses one of the finest and most comprehensive collections of Peranakan objects. Galleries on three floors illustrate the culture, life and art of Peranakans.

Reporting to the Senior Curator for Southeast Asia and Peranakan Art, you will be part of the curatorial department in ACM-TPM. As Curator, you will research, interpret and make accessible to the public TPM’s collection. You are required to fulfil project management and administrative functions to ensure smooth running of the museum to meet the National Heritage Board’s (NHB) aim of cultivating public awareness of the cultural inheritance of Singaporeans.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Conceptualise and design storylines and themes for permanent galleries and special exhibitions relating to Peranakan art and Asian diaspora studies in Southeast Asia.

• Consult and engage with representatives of communities to facilitate dialogue on and interpretation of Peranakan art in our collection.

• Work collaboratively with collection managers, conservators, designers, and related parties to set up and project manage exhibitions.

Technical Interception
Identify and intercept abnormal items in the BBS that exceed the physical limitations of the factory’s machinery (e.g., extremely tight bending radii, ultra-short lengths that cannot be processed) before they reach the production stage.

Technical Clarification & Modification
Upon identifying unmanufacturable drawings, promptly communicate with the client’s site engineers to propose alternative fabrication solutions (e.g., adjusting bending radii or modifying joint designs). Production orders are released only after mutual agreement is obtained.

Detailing & Drafting
Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, internal BBS breakdowns, and 3D exploded views (where required) based on structural drawings and client requirements. Ensure drawings achieve first-time approval and sign-off from clients.

Nesting Optimisation (Core Profit Driver)
Utilise professional nesting software to optimise material usage through scientific cutting plans and offcut management for rebar cages and daily orders. Strictly control theoretical scrap rates in line with company targets.

On-site Fabrication Guidance
Provide on-site technical support for complex or newly designed rebar cages by guiding welding operators or manual tying teams during first-article assembly and jig setup.

3. Surcharge Calculation & Front-line Billing

Batch Pricing
Collect and verify Delivery Orders (DO) from logistics drivers, ensuring accurate “Time In” and “Time Out” stamps acknowledged by the client.

Profit Recovery
Integrate BBS processing data with DO timestamps to calculate applicable charges, including:

• Technical surcharges (special processing fees)

• Logistics surcharges (waiting time/demurrage, weekend or night delivery fees)

Client Confirmation & Handover
Explain surcharge breakdowns to client site technicians or supervisors, obtain written or email confirmation, and submit finalised records to the Commercial Back-office for monthly billing.

• Support RFPs and pre-sales efforts, ensuring ESP’s capabilities address both Day 1 (setup) and Day 2 (operations).
• Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to address design challenges and align on best practices.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, playbooks, and processes to improve consistency and scalability.

 Operational Excellence & Escalation Support

• Ensure solutions are robust, secure, and scalable, meeting customer performance and availability requirements.
• Provide insights on Day 1 → Day 2 processes, ensuring smooth transitions into operational support.
• Lead or contribute to design validation, performance testing, and risk mitigation planning.
• Be prepared to attend weekly calls outside of business hours when required to support global or regional customers.
• Provide on-call support during weekends or public holidays for critical escalations or coverage, ensuring minimal customer impact.
• Participate in RCA/RFO and to be presented to customer and internal management team.

Skills for Success:

• Proven experience in network design and delivery, with strong expertise in WAN, LAN, routing, and security Cloud and Automation.
• Strong understanding of network security, cloud, automation principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex network design deployments and operations.
• Exceptional presentation skills for both customer engagements and internal management discussions.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across multiple teams and organizations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with Day 1 delivery and Day 2 operations processes is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on solution feasibility and long-term supportability.

Digital Marketing Executive (Financial Education – Creative Funnel Marketer)

Job responsibilities:

• Brainstorm creative marketing ideas and execute performance-driven campaigns on Meta and Google
• Build and optimise conversions funnels, running A/B tests on ad creatives, landing pages and sales pages to maximise return on ad spend
• Translate offers and big ideas into compelling hooks and messaging that attract, engage and convert
• Write authentic and persuasive direct-response copy across ads, video scripts, landing pages, sales pages, emails, and more
• Conceptualise thumb-stopping video ads and work closely with video editors to bring them to life — from scripting and storyboarding to post-edit briefs
• Produce clear creative briefs for designers to create visually exciting ads, landing pages and other visual assets
• Work with content specialists to develop lead-generation assets such as e-books, reports and short courses
• Leverage Gen AI tools to accelerate the conceptualisation and production of marketing assets
• Stay ahead of new ad channels, formats, tools and creative trends

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree holder
• Minimum one year of experience in digital marketing, advertising, or performance marketing
• (Preferred) Interest in financial markets, investing, or trading
• Strong copywriting skills (ads, landing pages, emails)
• Experienced in funnel building and marketing angles
