Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled ETL Developer/ Data Engineer with a strong background in Data Warehouse, Data Vault and Snowflake Cloud technologies. The candidate must possess deep understanding of ETL architecture and best practices, coupled with the ability to design, develop, and maintain robust ETL solutions for our data-driven organization. As an ETL Developer/ Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and optimizing our data integration processes to support business analytics and decision-making. Skills:

• Mandatory: Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, SQL.

• Good to have: Python for data analytics. Responsibilities:

• ETL Architecture and Design: Designing and implementing ETL & CDC solutions, considering scalability, maintainability, and performance. Collaborating with data architects and stakeholders to define ETL specifications and data integration requirements.

• Data Warehouse and Data Vault Development: Building and managing data warehouses and data vaults to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Employing best practices for data modelling, schema design, and data lineage.

• Snowflake Cloud Expertise: Demonstrating expertise in Snowflake Cloud data warehousing platform. Utilizing Snowflake's features and capabilities to optimize ETL performance and data processing.

• ETL Development: Developing, testing, and maintaining ETL workflows, data pipelines, and data transformations using ETL tools like DBT, Qlik compose etc.

• Performance Optimization: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in ETL processes to ensure data processing efficiency and reduce load times. • Data Quality and Validation: Implementing data quality checks, validation, and error handling within ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Documentation and Best Practices: Creating detailed technical documentation, including data mappings, ETL specifications, and system architecture. Promoting and adhering to ETL best practices and standards.

• Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.

• Troubleshooting and Support: Investigating and resolving ETL-related issues, providing technical support, and participating in on-call rotations if required.

• Continuous Learning and Innovation: Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in ETL technologies, data warehousing, and cloud-based data solutions. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Qualifications:
 

• Lead the implementation of the Finance workstream for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (“D365”) including analysis, design, build, test, train, cutover, operations, and support. 

• Conduct client workshops to define business requirements required for them to successfully implement the ERP solution.  Capture these requirements in Business Scenario Documents/ Functional Requirements Documents / User Stories per the requirements of the project.  

• Writing design documents for any customizations and reports for D365. Ensure the design documents capture boundary conditions and include comprehensive test scenarios. 

• Review design documents, data mapping and integration mapping written by other team members. 

• Configure D365 for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections, Fixed Assets, Tax, Bank Management, Budgeting, Workflows and Financial Reporting. 

• Perform Data mapping and import data into D365 using data entities. 

• Do field mapping between D365 and other integrating systems. 

• Perform testing including functional testing, integration testing and automated testing using the Regression suite automation test tool. 

• Lead training for D365 and associated systems to clients as well as to other Unify Dots team members  

• Provide pre-go live and post go live support to clients and manage any escalations including escalating to Microsoft for support. 

• Conduct 1 training session at Unify University once a year 

• Write 2-3 D365 functional blogs articles per year on the Unify Dots blog. 

Key Responsibilities:

•  Design, develop codes and tests programs for SAP modules and functions using ABAP programming language.

•  Creates specialized reports for SAP modules using ABAP programming languages.

•  Designs forms and screens for SAP modules using tools such as SAP script and Smart Forms and ADOBE forms.

•  Interact with functional teams to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures with information technology and to identify customer solutions.

•  Review project deliverables such as design document, configuration documents and create technical specifications.

•  Ensure daily monitoring of assigned incidents and Change Requests to avoid any slippage or SLA breaches

•  Provide technical solution for any requirement or issue

•  Ensure updated technical documentation for primary technical support areas

•  Provide standby or back-up support whenever required

•  Should be ok to work in CE shift timings whenever required

Required Technical Skills:

•Atleast 1 years experience in ABAP

   • Continuously assess and report on data quality and process performance.
6. Trend Analysis and Ad Hoc Work:
   • Analyze current and past trends with key performance indicators.
   • Handle ad hoc tasks like purchase orders, accruals, and prepayments.
   • Perform ad hoc analysis for finance and leadership.
   • Assist with key pitches for senior management.
7. Collaboration and Liaison:
   • Liaise between finance and non-finance teams.
   • Close cooperation with other FP&A Hub colleagues
   • Work closely with global FP&A peers.
8. Finance Business Partners (FBPs) Support:
   • Support FBPs of Global Functions.
   • Assist with monthly operational meetings and forecasting submissions.
   • Manage operating expenses, one-time costs, and capital budgets.
9. Systems and Automation:
   • Work with systems like SAP4 Hanna, NEA, and PowerBI.
   • Align system data and ensure proper controls and procedures are followed.
10. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure quality and control of productivity trackers.

1. Commerce Graduate with basic accounting knowledge2. Experience in Payments activities in Invoice processing3.
