Fund & Client Support Analyst / Associate

Provide operational and client-facing support to Relationship Managers (RMs) and investment teams across fund, client, bank, broker, custodian and administrator matters to ensure timely, accurate and compliant fund operations and investor servicing.

KeyResponsibilities

• Act as primary operational support to the RM on client, fund, bank, broker, custodian and administrative matters.

• Prepare and coordinate fund governance documentation: board resolutions, written resolutions, meeting minutes and related fund/company documents.
• Prepare, track and follow up on invoices (management fees, admin, audit, corporate secretarial, professional fees); manage invoice approval, payment follow‑up and record keeping.
• Support audit, financial statement and filing processes; respond to administrator or auditor queries.
• Maintain accurate records of key fund matters, investor communications, operational instructions and outstanding follow‑ups.
• Place and monitor trade/payment instructions with banks, brokers or custodians per RM / investment manager instructions; follow up on execution, settlement and confirmations.

RequiredQualifications & Experience

• Degree in finance, business, accounting, economics or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ yrs years’ experience in fund operations, investor services, client operations, custody or a related financial services role.
• Practical experience with KYC/AML processes, investor onboarding and fund administration processes.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated individual to join Lighthouse Canton’s Asset Management team as an Analyst. This is a broad, generalist role designed to provide early exposure to two complementary pillars of how a modern asset management business is run: business strategy and business finance.

The Analyst will work directly with the Business Manager and, where relevant, the CEO of Asset Management, supporting a range of initiatives spanning market research, financial analysis, performance tracking, and project execution. The role is well-suited to someone who is eager to learn, comfortable with numbers and structured thinking, and keen to build a career at the intersection of investments, operations, and business building.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in market research, competitiveanalysis, and business assessments to support strategic decision-making
• Support the evaluation of new businesslines, product launches, and other strategic growth initiatives
• Assist in preparation of presentations, briefing notes, maintaining and updating internal financial dashboards, business performance trackers, analytical outputs and management reports for senior leadership discussions
• Coordinate with internal teams(investments, operations, finance, compliance, technology) to assist in the execution of cross-functional projects
• Support the Business Manager and CEO on strategic planning activities, governance processes, and ad hoc special projects
• Research and summarise developments in the asset management industry, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment
• Assist in developing and tracking KPIsacross asset management business lines and initiatives
• Coordinate with internal finance and operations teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Work with technology teams to understand and optimize systems, tools, and workflows supporting the asset management business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant internship or work experience in financial services, asset management, or investment-related roles
• Strong academic record; demonstrated quantitative or analytical aptitude
• Exposure to financial modelling or data analysis tools is an advantage
• Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills

What You’ll Do

The Rates Strategist will support idea generation, trade structuring, building monitors, tracking markets across global rates complex for the investment team. This role involves analysing economic data, yield curves, fixed-income markets, and policy developments to produce actionable insights. The strategist will collaborate closely with the CIO and the investment team to deliver high quality analysis and trade ideas.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitor and analyse global interest rate markets, including bonds, swaps, money markets, and related derivatives
• Track macroeconomic indicators, central bank policies, and geopolitical events to assess implications for rates markets
• Conduct yield curve analysis, term premium decomposition, and scenario modelling
• Contribute to daily, weekly, and thematic research publications
• Develop relative value and directional trade ideas in rates markets
• Support internal discussions on market positioning, risk themes, and strategy recommendations for clients
• Build and maintain analytical models, dashboards and tools to support systematic screening and idea generation (e.g., curve fitting, regression models, PCA, scenario simulators)
• Manage time series data, Bloomberg extractions, and automated reporting tools

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in a financial market role (research, trading, strategy, economics, quant, or related), with a deep understanding of interest rate derivatives and fixed income securities
• Strong understanding of macroeconomics and central bank policy frameworks
