Job Purpose

The overall purpose of the role is to support Capital Markets & Solutions (“CM&S”) business of CMA for implementation of its business strategy and setting the direction of business expansion in countries under APAC & East Asia. Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities

(A) Head Office Compliance & Japanese Regulation Advisory

• Provide guidance and direction in accordance with Japanese laws/regulations and HO policies/rules.
• Advise APAC offices on implementation issues and required controls relating to updates in HO policies, particularly Corporate Compliance.
• Coordinate approvals and discussions with HO for policy changes, new initiatives, and implementation matters.

(B) Regional Oversight

Job Requirements

Job Description

The APAC Head of ETF Business Development role is part of the Global ETF Distribution Team. This newly established role will define and lead our ETF strategy in the region, working closely with both regional and global partners across distribution, product development and investments, to commercialize current and future product offerings. You will become a highly committed and trusted Risk Advisor with the discipline and interpersonal skills to work in a global environment communicating the impact of technology risks and the approach to mitigation and acceptance. You will provide Technology Risk Advisory risk assessment and advisory services to engineers and business leaders as part of the Technology Risk function.

Overall, the Job Responsibilities of Tech Risk Advisory involve one or more of the following elements, the specifics of which may vary per function:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform pentest of web applications, APIs, Mobile applications, and Thick Client applications, both On-prem and in the Cloud

· Design secure patterns and produce guidance to reduce risks through opinionated architecture

· Validate security controls and uncover misconfigurations across various cloud deployments

· Perform software architecture design reviews/threat modeling for on-prem or cloud-based applications

· Drive adoption of embedded application security controls within the firm’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

· Develop detection capabilities for Static and Dynamic security testing solutions and support development teams in their remediation efforts to address security flaws identified through automated scanning

· Conduct Cyber security assessments of the firm’s vendors commensurate with the information risk of the relationship

· Support the firm's acquisition strategy by providing deal teams with insight into material cyber security risks, control differences, and risk remediation priorities for potential acquisition targets

· Partner with business and technology teams to identify security-related concerns relating to divestitures, such as separation strategy, data and system migration plans, and inputs for Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) and Reverse TSAs

· Provide guidance to business and technology users on relevant policies/standards related to data protection, privacy, and data risk management to enable adoption of secure and resilient solutions

· Support IAM program initiatives such as Privileged Access Management (PAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SOD) and Single Sign-on Design Pattern enforcement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Min. 10 years of experience in Technology Risk and/or Cybersecurity, with a proven track record of being in a consulting or security engineering capacity.

· Deep understanding of at least one major programming language (Java, Python, Go) and modern engineering practices (Microservices, Containerization, IaC).

· Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms and their respective security frameworks.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders globally.

Requirements

• At least a university‑level graduate degree

ABOUT OUR ROLES

This Executive Director will play a key role within the Asset Management (AM) Marketing team, leading alternatives TPW marketing in APAC and reporting to the Global Head of TPW Alts Marketing. The TPW client channel includes discretionary and advisory wealth managers, private banks, and fund platforms. This is a new role that will help drive the global growth of Goldman Sachs Alternatives.

The ED will partner with sales teams, Alternatives Capital Formation team, product strategy, investment teams and broader AM Marketing teams to identify and harness the top commercial priorities and translate them into full-funnel plans, fueling our business growth objectives with this critical segment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Marketing strategy: Develop and implement a cohesive APAC TPW Alternatives marketing strategy for AM’s third-party wealth client segment to fuel overall business growth objectives in APAC
• Brand narrative: Ensure the Asset Management Alternatives value proposition and associated third party wealth value proposition are infused through all related alternatives marketing activities in the APAC.
• Client research: Partner with marketing team to track and analyze client research to determine how AM is perceived by our third-party wealth clients, and execute on plan to enhance perceptions
• Campaigns and execution: Develop and execute well thought-out, impactful and quantifiable lead generation and client retention campaigns leveraging a range of digital, media and in-person channels
• Partnership marketing: Partner with third party wealth business leaders to develop and deliver high-impact, tailored client-specific marketing programs to deepen relationships and build loyalty with strategic third-party wealth clients.
• Fund updates: Assist in the fund update process helping to execute webinars, newsletters and communications to keep clients informed of fund developments

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS                                                         

• 7 or more years in a similar or related role with previous experience in asset management and alternatives marketing

• Ability to present investment views in a thoughtful and well-reasoned manner, synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a clear, compelling story
