Your primary duty is to keep our passengers safe and comfortable throughout their flight. As a brand ambassador, you are responsible for working in a team to deliver exceptional service while adding a vibrant and fun touch to every interaction. To get you Scoot-ready, you will undergo a 2-month (Full-time) training programme upon joining. Topics include:

• Safety emergency drills
• Door operation
• Fire fighting
• First aid
• Grooming
• Scootitude
• Passenger handling
• Inflight sales procedures

• You meet the minimum age of 18 years and above so as to comply to the legal and regulatory requirements of Singapore
• To carry out safety and emergency procedures onboard, you have to meet the following criteria:

- Female: Have a height of 158cm OR a min height of 156cm and be able to reach over the line of 210cm 
- Male: Have a height of 165cm OR a min height of 162cm and be able to reach over the line of 210cm

• You have min. qualification of 3 GCE ‘O’ level subject passes (including English) or 5 GCE ‘N(A)’ / ‘N(T)’ level subject passes (including English), 3 SPM subject passes certification including English with a Grade C and above
• You are medically fit to perform the role of a cabin crew
• You believe in delivering exceptional service
• You embody team spirit and are the ultimate team player
• You adapt quickly to manage situations on board whilst maintaining passengers’ safety

Sitting on the left-hand seat, you will take command of the flight and ensure the highest personal and professional standards are upheld at all times. Your focus is on ensuring that flights are safe, comfortable and on-time, every time. As a leader and a team player, you set the example and help develop members of the Scoot team to deliver the Scootitude experience to all passengers.

A320 Requirements:

Pilots with Jet experience:

• Total Flight Hours of more than 3,500 hours on aeroplanes with MTMA of 5,700kg or more

• Minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (exclude P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine jet, commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation. 

B787 Requirements

• Total Flight Hours of more than 5,000 hours on aeroplanes with MTMA of 5,700kg or more

• Minimum of 2,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (exclude P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine jet, commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation.

E190 Turboprop Requirements

Pilots without Jet experience:

• Total Flight Hours of more than 4,000 hours on aeroplanes with MTMA of 5,700kg or more

• Minimum of 2,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (exclude P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine turboprop, commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation. 

Licensing Requirements:

• A Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore issued ICAO ATPL (foreign ATPL will be required to undergo license conversion which requires an instrument rating and a proficiency check that has a minimum of 6 months’ validity).

• Demonstrate the ability to speak and understand English with a minimum of ICAO level 4.

• Satisfy all vaccination requirements as required by CAAS.

• Minimum of 200 total flying hours as pilot of aeroplanes. A minimum of 100 PIC hours will be required for candidates holding foreign pilot licences

• Legally entitled to work in Singapore

• A Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) ATPL with a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating that has a minimum of 3 months' validity; or

• An ICAO issued ATPL with a Multi Engine Instrument Rating and a Proficiency Check that have a minimum of 6 months' validity (The foreign license will be required to undergo license conversion.)

• Demonstrate the ability to speak and understand English with a minimum of ICAO Level 4

• A Class 1 unrestricted medical approved by the Civil Aviation Medical Board (CAMB)
