Job Summary
Drive sales growth and deliver technical support by executing sales plans, developing client relationships, conducting product demonstrations, and providing engineering expertise to meet customer needs and company objectives.
Responsibilities
a. Sales
- Execute sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and support company growth objectives
- Develop new business opportunities by expanding the company’s agency programs, products, and services
- Conduct sales visits locally and overseas to engage customers and support sales performance
- Deliver marketing presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers to generate interest and sales
- Manage and develop existing client relationships through regular visits, project management, and sales administration
- Identify and grow new customer accounts to expand the clientele base
- Respond promptly to sales enquiries and follow up to secure business
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations and proposals for clients
b. Technical Support
- Provide technical and engineering support to the sales team to enhance customer solutions
- Conduct training sessions for vessel crews and prepare detailed training reports to ensure effective knowledge transfer
- Perform inspections on board vessels and document findings in inspection reports to maintain quality standards
- Carry out installations on board vessels and prepare installation reports to ensure proper setup and functionality
- Collaborate closely with customers to assess application needs and define technical requirements for tailored solutions
- Liaise with product principals and technical teams to deliver comprehensive technical support to customers
- Manage preparation and delivery of technical and commercial proposals, sales enquiries, quotations, and orders to ensure smooth transactions
- Contribute input to contractual agreements related to products and services to protect company interests
- Execute ad-hoc assignments as required to support business operations and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Professional Certificate / Nitec, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma / Bachelor’s degree
- Experiences in handling Maritime Ship Owner / Management will be a plus
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and maintain a high level of self-discipline
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1 year of sales experience in marine or offshore market are encouraged to apply
