We are looking for a motivated professional like you to join our international team and provide technical support for enterprise applications.

Your role

• In this role, you will manage incidents and service requests, log and track tickets, and ensure their resolution within the agreed SLA.
• You will investigate issues, coordinate with IT Operations and Development teams, and keep users informed about ticket progress.
• Your responsibilities will also include participating in outage bridges to help resolve service-impacting problems quickly and maintaining reports on support activities.
• You will work with technologies such as Windows Server, MS SQL Server, IIS, and .NET-based applications, contributing to continuous service improvements.
• As part of a global team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across different locations using various communication channels, including phone, email, chat, and shared documentation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and performance of all marketing and sales activities.
• Maintaining and developing a computerized customer and prospect database.
• Establish plan and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area.
• To identify potential customers in the market and to probe for opportunities for market share increment.
• Other Assignments:Plan, organise and control of department activities such as costing, quotation, tender etc.
• Resources and manpower planning to maximise utilization to meet the sales target.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Registers and ensures that samples received are with proper documentation into in-house sample and test database in accordance with SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) within pre-determined lead time
• Prepares and sends sample into different laboratories
• Liaises with customers on sample and reporting aspects including enquiries
• Prepares forms and reports test reports using test results from testing sections for signatory approval using in-house software according to test method and/or customer requirements
• Reports discrepancies on the documents and reports received from actual sample and sample submission forms
• Maintains sample database
• Archives of samples, forms and reports
• Ensures that training records is updated regularly
• Supports general registration and report work process and other related tasks assigned
• In his/her absence, his/her duties shall be covered by the Registration and Report Officer
• Assists Section Head/QA in the investigation of nonconforming work related to reporting and the execution of MS

The role focuses on acquiring new clients and managing existing accounts within the shipping and maritime sector, promoting our testing services related to ballast water, potable water, wastewater, and environmental (IHM) compliance.

Job Description:
Sales & Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the maritime and shipping sector
• Promote laboratory water testing services (e.g., ballast water, potable water, wastewater, environmental (IHM) monitoring)
• Generate leads through client meetings, industry events, and referrals
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, operators, managers, shipyards, and maritime agents
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring timely follow-up and customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with laboratory, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery

Market & Industry Awareness

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments (IMO, ballast water regulations, port state control
• Provide feedback to management on market needs and potential service expansion

Reporting

• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and CRM updates
• Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology and/or chemistry or business field preferred.
• Moderate industry knowledge.
• Functional scientific/technical expertise in specific area of food technology, manufacturing, auditing, lab testing etc.
• 2-4 years sales (or relevant) experience selling services directly to the food, pharma and/or biotech sectors with direct interaction with mid-level and executive level decision makers.

Ensure software quality by designing test plans, creating test cases, performing manual/automated tests, and debugging issues.
