Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity fora fresh graduate who is eager to start their career in a fast-paced andsupportive legal environment. We welcome candidates with a diploma in LegalStudies, Communications, Public Relations, or Business, but no prior experienceis required, as we are committed to providing comprehensive training to theright candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

·       AdministrativeSupport: Provide full administrative and secretarialsupport to lawyers, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, andorganising meetings.

·       FileManagement: Maintain and organise both physical andelectronic case files, ensuring all information is accurate, confidential, andeasily accessible.

·       Communication: Actas a liaison between lawyers, clients, courts, and external parties. Handleincoming and outgoing calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.

·       Billing& Invoicing: Prepare and process legal billing, invoices,and expense claims.

·       OfficeManagement: Assist with general office duties, such asordering supplies, managing couriers, and maintaining a tidy work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Diplomain any field (Law, Communications, Public Relations, or Business preferred)

·       Stronginterest in the legal industry and a desire to learn.

·       Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.

·       Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

·       Exceptionalorganisational skills and attention to detail.

·       Abilityto handle confidential information with discretion.

·       Apositive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively bothindependently and as part of a team.

·       1 to 6 years PQE;

Role Description

Legal Secretary in a mid-sized local law firm, whoseresponsibility will be to provide administrative support to a team of 3 to 4lawyers in the litigation department. The role will involve general legalsecretarial and administrative work and some litigation support work.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Legal Secretarial Duties

o  Assisting in the preparation of large files orbundles of documents ahead of hearings / trials

o  Engrossing and sending letters / documents

o  Carrying out public searches on ACRA

o  Carrying out conflict searches

o  Using eLitigation for carrying out searchesand/or filing simple court documents

·      Administrative Duties

o  Providing general administrative supportincluding printing, photocopying, filing of documents and managing files.

o  Taking accurate telephone messages if lawyersare unavailable

o  Generating invoices and billing

o  Managing diaries of allocated lawyers inMicrosoft Outlook and scheduling meetings with clients

Junior Associate (Real Estate)

We are seeking an Associate with 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience to join our Real Estate Team.

Our Real Estate team brings decades of expertise to every property matter we handle: from straightforward residential purchases to complex commercial developments. You will be part of a dynamic practice that guides clients through the entire property lifecycle, including acquisitions, financing, development, leasing, and sales.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters: from residential towers and retail spaces to industrial developments, and to advise a wide range of clients, from first-time homebuyers to seasoned developers.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage and advise on property transactions and conveyancing matters, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

·       Draft, review, and negotiate sale and purchase agreements, option to purchase documents, tenancy agreements, and lease or licence agreements.

·       Assist in financing and mortgage arrangements, including advising on loan documentation and liaising with financial institutions.

·       Handle development and sale of properties under construction, and advise developers on project-related issues.

·       Advise clients on stamp duty, ABSD remission, and related tax planning matters.

·       Conduct title due diligence and coordinate with relevant authorities (e.g. SLA, URA, BCA) on property and regulatory matters.

·       Work closely with clients ranging from first-time homebuyers to developers and corporate investors, ensuring timely completion and smooth transaction management.

Preferred qualifications:

·       To be/called to the Singapore Bar

·       Strong team player

·       Hardworking with a positive attitude towards learning and growing

·       Fluent in English (written and oral).

·       1 to 3 years PQE;

·       Experience in real estate legal work

·       A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
