Reporting To Assembly Leader

Position Summary

• The Production Control Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all production scheduling, material control, and project progress activities for semiconductor cleaning equipment assembly projects.
• This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth assembly operations, on-time delivery, and efficient resource utilization while meeting quality, cost, and customer requirements. The manager will work closely with procurement, engineering, warehouse, quality assurance, project management teams, Japanese customers, and Japan HQ to coordinate production schedules and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

Develop and manage master production schedules for semiconductor cleaning equipment assembly projects.

Coordinate manpower allocation and production loading based on project priorities and customer delivery requirements.

Monitor daily production progress and adjust schedules to minimize delays and bottlenecks.

Issue and control production work orders and assembly schedules.

2. Material Control & Inventory Management

Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability.

Monitor material shortages, delivery delays, excess inventory, and supply risks.

Manage kitting schedules and material readiness for assembly operations.

Improve inventory accuracy and support stock control activities.

3. Project Coordination & Customer Communication

Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to align production schedules with customer milestones.

Coordinate production schedules and delivery plans with Japanese customers and Japan HQ.

Support production adjustments in response to specification changes, priority changes, or urgent delivery requests from Japan.

Participate in regular meetings with Japan HQ and customers to report production status, risks, and recovery actions.

4. Production Monitoring & KPI Management

Monitor and analyze key production indicators including:

On-Time Delivery (OTD)

Schedule adherence

Production efficiency

Assembly lead time

Inventory turnover

Material shortage occurrence

Additional responsibilities include:

Preparing weekly and monthly production reports for management.

Identifying production issues and implementing corrective actions.

5. Continuous Improvement

Lead continuous improvement activities in production planning and material flow management.

Establish and maintain SOPs for production control processes.

Promote Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and operational efficiency improvement activities.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as the coordination window between production, purchasing, engineering, QA/QC, warehouse, and logistics teams.

Escalate critical production risks and propose countermeasures to management.

Support customer audits and internal operational reviews when required.

7. Team Management

Lead and supervise production control staff and planners.

Provide training and guidance on scheduling, planning systems, and reporting standards.

Set departmental goals and evaluate team performance.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, production control, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, precision machinery, automation equipment, or project-based assembly manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• As regional division head of a key counterpart function to Japan & global Product BUs, be responsible to lead the RMC team to create, drive regional product promotion strategies to generate target opportunities and achieve the products design win targets, maximizing current and future business opportunities through product positionings and innovation.

• Owner to lead regional Application Cross Functional Teams (CFTs) to drive Application Marketing in the Asean, India and Oceania region, linking to global contribution.

• Owner for regional TIGER (Semi-conductor) CFT, spearhead the regional TIGER initiatives, focusing on deep technical collaboration with IC partners to secure Murata’s business through linking regional initiatives to global, building a strong regional team.

• Lead and manage local operations of product and application engineering activities, enabling new value creation through innovation.

• Through developing application marketing and product marketing strategies, contribute to existing Product Division BUs’ product roadmap and cultivate future positioning and new business working with internal & external stakeholders.

• Bridge Murata’s current products (all Product Divisions) with partner’s technologies to grow current, future business through research institutes and technology partner organizations.

• Groom and develop the competencies of local Application, product Engineers, specialists and future local leadership pipelines for strategic succession.

Ability/Competency Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field.
• At least 8 years of experiences in engineering/ marketing in Semiconductor company, original equipment manufacturers, Electronics components manufacturers, design service company or incubator/accelerator.
• Good Market Knowledge of the electronics market including start ups, universities.
• Competencies in Product marketing strategy, application marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

· Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term and short-term business strategies for the spa, aligning with the overall brand vision, to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market positioning as a top-tier luxury spa destination.

· Operations Oversight: Oversee all daily spa operations, including treatment delivery, guest services, appointment scheduling, inventory management, facility maintenance, and hygiene standards, ensuring seamless workflow and adherence to the highest luxury service protocols.

· Financial Management: Develop and manage annual budgets, revenue targets, and cost control measures; monitor daily sales, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs); analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for optimization and maximize ROI.

· Team Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of spa therapists, estheticians, receptionists, and support staff; oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and career development to foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Wellness Management, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications in management are a distinct advantage.

· Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of progressive management experience in a high-end luxury spa, 5-star resort, or premium wellness center; at least 3 years in a senior management role (DGM, Spa Director, or equivalent) with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and operational excellence.

· Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of luxury spa operations, wellness trends, treatment protocols, and premium skincare/beauty products; familiarity with spa management systems (e.g., Book4Time, Spa Guru) and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
