Tanggungjawab Utama

1. Operasi & Pelaporan Kewangan

• Mengurus set lengkap akaun (GL, AR, AP, aset tetap, akruan, peruntukan).
• Menyediakan akaun pengurusan bulanan, analisis varians dan ulasan kewangan.
• Pastikan penutupan akhir bulan dan akhir tahun tepat pada masanya.
• Menyokong penganggaran, ramalan dan unjuran aliran tunai.

2. Perakaunan Projek & Kawalan Kos

• Pantau bajet projek berbanding bajet sebenar; kenal pasti lebihan kos, ketidakpadanan masa dan risiko margin.
• Jejaki kos berkaitan projek termasuk import, logistik, duti kastam, insurans dan subkontrak.
• Bekerjasama rapat dengan pasukan Projek/Operasi untuk memastikan pengecaman kos dan penjajaran pengebilan yang tepat.
• Serlahkan risiko komersial yang signifikan lebih awal kepada Pengurusan.

3. Pengurusan Aliran Tunai & Perbendaharaan

• Mengurus perancangan aliran tunai, keperluan pembiayaan dan keutamaan pembayaran.
• Menyelaras invois pelanggan, tuntutan kemajuan dan susulan kutipan.
• Mengawasi kawalan pembayaran, aliran kerja kelulusan dan pengaturan perbankan.

4. Berkanun, Cukai & Audit

• Berhubung dengan juruaudit, ejen cukai, setiausaha syarikat dan pegawai bank.
• Memastikan pematuhan dengan keperluan berkanun Malaysia (cukai, SST jika berkenaan).
• Mengendalikan pelaporan entiti Singapura dengan CoSec yang disumber luar, termasuk penyerahan GST dan penyelarasan audit.
• Pastikan dokumentasi dan kesediaan audit yang betul pada setiap masa.

5. Kawalan, Proses & Sistem

• Mengekalkan dan menambah baik kawalan dalaman, prosedur kewangan dan matriks kelulusan.
• Menyelia atau menyelaras penyedia pembukuan/penggajian penyumberan luar jika berkenaan.
• Memastikan integriti dan kawalan data kewangan merentasi sistem (Excel, perisian perakaunan, pemacu kongsi).

6. Sokongan Pengurusan

• Berikan pihak Pengurusan pandangan kewangan yang jelas, bukan sekadar laporan.

• 確保遵守馬來西亞法定要求（稅金、銷售與服務稅，如適用）。
• 負責新加坡實體報告的外包公司秘書工作，包括消費稅申報和審計協調。
• 始終確保文件記錄完整，並做好審計準備。

5. 控制、過程和系統

• 維護和改進內部控制、財務程序和審批矩陣。
• 在適用情況下，監督或協調外包的簿記/工資服務提供者。
• 確保跨系統（Excel、會計軟體、共用磁碟機）的財務資料完整性和控制。

• 向管理層提供清晰的財務見解，而不僅僅是報告。

The Finance Manager is responsible for end-to-end finance and accounts management for a project-driven engineering business.

This is a hands-on role covering financial control, project costing, cashflow management, statutory compliance, and management reporting across Malaysia and Singapore entities.

The role supports Management with commercial insight, risk visibility, and financial discipline, particularly in long‑running projects with imports, logistics, and milestone billing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations & Reporting

• Manage full set of accounts (GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, accruals, provisions).
• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial commentary.
• Ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow projections.

2. Project Accounting & Cost Control

• Monitor project budgets vs actuals; identify cost overruns, timing mismatches, and margin risks.
• Track project‑related costs including imports, logistics, customs duties, insurance, and subcontracting.
• Work closely with Project / Operations teams to ensure accurate cost recognition and billing alignment.
• Highlight commercially significant risks early to Management.

3. Cashflow & Treasury Management

• Manage cashflow planning, funding requirements, and payment prioritisation.
• Coordinate customer invoicing, progress claims, and collection follow‑ups.
• Oversee payment controls, approval workflows, and banking arrangements.

4. Statutory, Tax & Audit

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and bankers.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements (tax, SST where applicable).
• Handle Singapore entity reporting with an outsourced CoSec, including GST submissions and audit coordination.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness at all times.

5. Controls, Process & Systems

• Maintain and improve internal controls, financial procedures, and approval matrices.
• Oversee or coordinate outsourced bookkeeping/payroll providers where applicable.
• Ensure finance data integrity and control across systems (Excel, accounting software, shared drives).

6. Management Support

• Provide Management with clear financial insights, not just reports.
• Support management decision‑making on pricing, margins, cost control, and risk exposure.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Finance Manager to manage and oversee the daily finance operations of the company. This role is responsible for supervising the finance team, especially Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring accurate accounting records, timely month-end closing, proper reconciliations, cashflow monitoring, and compliance with internal controls.

The Finance Manager will report to the Finance Controller and act as the key person managing the execution of finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations

• Manage the daily finance operations of the company.
• Supervise and guide the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team.
• Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately, completely, and on time.
• Review payment requests, supplier invoices, customer invoices, receipts, credit notes, and accounting entries.
• Ensure proper supporting documents and approvals are obtained before processing transactions.
• Monitor AP, AR, bank, cash, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure finance operations follow company policies, SOPs, approval matrix, and internal controls.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Review supplier statement reconciliations and AP ageing.
• Monitor payment schedules and ensure payments are properly prepared.
• Review customer aging, collection status, and overdue accounts.
• Ensure customer receipts are properly recorded and allocated.
• Follow up on unmatched receipts, billing issues, credit note requests, and e-invoice related issues.
• Support intercompany billing, reconciliation, and related company transactions.

Bank, Cashflow and Reconciliation

• Review bank reconciliations and ensure reconciling items are resolved promptly.
• Monitor daily or weekly cash position.
• Prepare and monitor short-term cashflow forecast.
• Highlight cashflow concerns, large upcoming payments, overdue collections, or abnormal transactions.
• Ensure cheque receipts and bank-in matters are handled promptly.

Month-End Closing and Reporting

• Coordinate monthly closing activities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review monthly account schedules and reconciliations.
• Review accruals, prepayments, AP, AR, bank, intercompany, and other balance sheet schedules.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports and supporting schedules.
• Analyze major variances, unusual balances, and financial trends.
• Support year-end audit preparation and liaise with auditors when required.

Compliance and Internal Control

• Support SST, e-invoice, tax, audit, and statutory compliance matters.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, or recurring errors.
• Recommend improvements to finance processes, workflows, and reporting.
• Escalate major issues, risks, or non-compliance matters to the Finance Controller.

Team Management

• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of finance team members.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to AP and AR staff.
• Ensure finance team members complete their daily, weekly, and monthly tasks on time.
• Build a disciplined, accurate, and accountable finance operations culture.
• Ensure proper backup arrangements within the finance team.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably with experience supervising a finance team.
• Experience in managing AP, AR, bank reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of accounting standards, internal controls, SST, and basic tax compliance.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems. Experience with Odoo will be an added advantage.

職責：

• 負責日常會計工作，包括資料輸入、文件歸檔、維護和更新會計記錄。
• 將所有交易明細準確輸入會計系統
• 在銀行入口網站準備付款 - 付款人級別
• 每月在系統中運行銀行對賬，任何差異都需要檢查並糾正。
• 維護所有會計記錄和文件的系統歸檔。
• 檢查並記錄員工報銷訊息
• 提供行政支持
• 不時分配的其他臨時任務。

要求：

• 主要語言：普通話（因為需要與講普通話的客戶溝通）
• 第二語言：英語和馬來語。
• 經驗要求：應屆畢業生/至少1年相關領域工作經驗。
• 最好是具備文書/行政支援或相關專業背景的初級主管。
• 候選人必須至少擁有高中/STPM/“A”水準/大學預科、文憑/高級文憑/高等文憑/商業研究/行政管理/管理學研究生文憑或同等學歷。

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting functions, data entry, filing, maintain and update accounting records
• Enter all transactions detail accurately into accounting system
• Preparing payments in the bank portal - maker level
• Run monthly bank reconciliation in system and any discrepancies need to be checked and corrected
• To maintain systematic filing of all accounting records and documents
• Check and record staff claims
• Provide administration support
• Other ad hoc tasks assign from time to time.

Requirements: 

• Primary Language : Mandarin (As require to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients) 
• Secondary Language(s) : English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
• Experience: Fresh Graduates/ At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. 
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Clerical/Administrative Support or equivalent. 
• Candidate must possess at least Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma/Advanced/Higher /Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/ Administration/Management or equivalent. 
• Excel in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular). Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
