PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. The role will provide exceptional technical support for software and hardware systems across Southeast Asia (SEA).

Additionally, as part of our global ticketing team, you will contribute to the "follow the sun" support model, facilitating continuous IT system operations - Windows Servers and computers with full Microsoft Collaborative suite: Office 365 application stack (Teams, Word, Excel, Onedrive, Powerpoint) and SAP ERP as an application backbone across different time zones.

MOBILITY: 10-15% of time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Technical Support:
   • Provide first and second-line technical support for software and hardware issues.
   • Respond to and resolve support tickets in Southeast Asia. Countries coverage scope could be reviewed and extended.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve IT system issues, ensuring minimal downtime to user.

1. Part of Global Ticketing Team:
   • Collaborate with international colleagues in the global ticketing team.
   • Provide follow-the-sun support to ensure seamless IT operations across different time zones.
   • Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution accordingly.

1. System Administration:
   • Maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems of Staubli units in the region.
   • Implement and oversee security protocols to protect organizational assets.
   • Conduct routine system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance.

1. Stakeholders Interaction:
   • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored support solutions.
   • Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of IT systems and technologies.

1. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate records of support activities and interactions.
   • Generate regular reports on support ticket trends and performance metrics.
   • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and user guides

POSITION:  Legal Counsel – SEA

LOCATION: Malaysia (Puchong)

REPORTING LINE: Group Legal & Compliance Officer and Managing Director SEA

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Legal Counsel will play a critical role in managing legal affairs within the SEA region, by providing expert guidance on compliance, contracts, legal risks, and regulatory issues. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various business units in SEA to support strategic initiatives and ensure legal compliance across operations.

MOBILITY: 10-15% of time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Legal Compliance

• Ensure that the company's operations are compliant with local, regional and international laws and regulations.
• Management of Staubli’s legal entities administration matters across SEA countries. Working with company’s secretariat or local authority to ensure up to date compliance.
• Keep abreast of legal changes and update internal policies accordingly.

1. Regulatory Affairs

• Interact with governmental agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Advise on regulatory requirements and compliance strategies.

1. Corporate Governance

• Ensure implementation of corporate governance and best practices.
• Support management board meetings and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

1. Internal Policy Development
   • Develop internal policies to ensure legal compliance across the organization.
   • Train stakeholders/employees on relevant legal issues and company policies.

1. Risk Management

• Identify potential legal risks and work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate them.
• Develop and implement strategies for risk prevention.

1. Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Ensure contracts are legally sound and protect the company’s interests.

1. Litigation Management

• Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage external legal counsel when necessary.
• Handle disputes, negotiate settlements and resolve conflicts efficiently.

1. Data Protection and Privacy

• Ensure compliance with data protection laws (such as GDPR).
• Develop privacy policies and respond to data breaches.

1. Stakeholders Communication
   • Liaise with stakeholders to manage legal and compliance issues effectively.
   • Act as an intermediary for legal communication between departments.

1. Advisory Role

• Provide legal advice to senior management and other departments.
• Assist in decision-making processes with legal implications.

1. Intellectual Property Management

• Part of global legal team to support Staubli’s trademark and intellectual property management.
