Job Summary
The Procurement Intern will assist the procurement team in vendor management, data comparison, and supply chain analysis. This role offers hands-on experience in procurement processes and supply chain operations, supporting efficient business administration and inventory management.
Responsibilities
Business Administration:
- Compare and analyze data extracted from internal systems to support procurement decision-making
- Track and maintain vendor records to assist vendor management activities
- Perform business administrative tasks to support procurement operations as needed
Supply Chain Management:
- Assist in projecting sales using internal data to support accurate forecasting
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant teams to support inventory management
- Coordinate supply chain logistics to ensure timely delivery and optimize cost efficiency
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Currently pursuing a diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related fields
- Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain concepts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills demonstrated through data analysis and task coordination
- Effective communication and teamwork skills applied in collaborative work environments
