Part-Time Accounts Assistant (AR Focus)

Salary: S$2,000 – S$2,300 per month (Part-Time Basis)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Accounts Assistant (AR Focus) to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable activities, while assisting the Finance team in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Support (Primary Responsibility)

• Assist in preparing customer invoices, credit notes, and related billing documents.
• Update customer payment records and maintain accurate accounting entries.
• Assist in monitoring outstanding customer balances and payment status.
• Support customer account reconciliation and follow up on billing or payment discrepancies.
• Maintain proper AR documentation and filing.

Accounts Payable & General Accounting Support

• Assist with verification and processing of supplier invoices.
• Support basic General Ledger activities and accounting data entry.
• Assist with account reconciliation and maintaining proper supporting documentation.

Finance & Administrative Support

• Provide support for month-end closing activities and audit preparation.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance and HR teams.

Competencies and Qualifications

• Minimum LCCI Bookkeeping or Nitec in Accounting or related discipline.
• Fresh Higher Nite / Diploma holders graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in billing, Accounts Receivable, payment processing, or accounting administration will be an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Good team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support the Finance team.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage, as the role requires communication and follow-up with Chinese-speaking customers.

Working Hours

• Part-time position: 30–35 hours per week
• Monday to Friday:10:30am to 6:00pm, or12:00 noon to 6:00pm
• One Saturday per month (8:30am to 12:30pm)

Job Summary

Join a growing manufacturing company as a Senior Accounts and HR Executive (Lead Executive - Accounts and HR), reporting to the CFO and GM (HR).

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and general ledger tasks, independently handling full sets of accounts when required to ensure accurate financial records
• Ensure timely submission of GST returns, monthly financial closing, and preparation of management reports to support business decisions
• Assist with year-end closing, audits, and statutory reporting in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow and payment schedules to maintain financial stability
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to provide insights for management
• Support inventory costing, fixed asset tracking, and job costing to maintain accurate cost control
• Assist and Handle HR and administrative tasks including recruitment, work pass applications, and compliance-related activities to support workforce management

Required competencies and certifications

• Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 consecutive years in the same company
• Proficiency in accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutory regulations
• Understanding of Singapore employment regulations, work pass procedures, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies
• Supervisory experience of at least 2 years with an HR background
• Willingness to work one Saturday per month
• Willing to work in Jurong Area
