Role Overview
The Paraplanner supports Family Wealth Specialist by
providing technical financial analysis, strategy formulation, and
documentation, ensuring that all recommendations are aligned with investors'
long-term wealth objectives and the firm’s commitment to ethical,
investor-centric advisory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Analysis & Strategy Support
* Conduct in-depth analysis of investors’ financial
positions, including income, assets, liabilities, and existing portfolios
* Assist in structuring comprehensive wealth strategies
(investment, financial independence, protection, legacy planning)
* Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to
support decision-making
* Evaluate and compare financial instruments to support
suitable recommendations
2. Preparation of Wealth Advisory Reports
* Prepare detailed and personalised family wealth planning
reports for investors
* Translate complex financial strategies into clear,
structured documentation
* Ensure all proposals are aligned with investors’ goals,
risk appetite, and time horizon
3. Portfolio Monitoring & Review
* Track and monitor investors’ portfolios and family wealth
plans over time
* Assist in periodic portfolio reviews and rebalancing
strategies
* Highlight risks, gaps, or opportunities for optimisation
4. Compliance & Documentation
* Ensure all recommendations and documentation adhere to
regulatory and internal compliance standards
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date investors records
* Support due diligence processes for financial products and
strategies
5. Consultant Support
* Work closely with Family Wealth Consultants in preparing
for investor engagements
* Provide technical insights and supporting analysis during
case discussions
* Assist in refining strategies to enhance investor outcomes
6. Research & Continuous Improvement
* Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and
regulatory developments
* Contribute to improving internal advisory frameworks and
planning methodologies
Key Competencies
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Solid understanding of investment and wealth planning
concepts
* Ability to simplify complex financial information
* Strong alignment with ethical, investor-first advisory
principles
Ideal Profile
* Background in finance, economics, accounting, or related
fields
* Progress towards or attainment of relevant certifications
(e.g., CFP, CFA) is an advantage
* Prior experience in financial planning, wealth management,
or paraplanning preferred
