This role holder leads the curriculum development team to conceptualize the masterplan for building the curriculum design and development capabilities in Hua Mei Training Academy (HMTA).

He/ She will drive the adoption of a standardized curriculum design model and blueprint (working in tandem with our subject matter experts - SMEs) to guide the curriculum development work in a consistent manner across the company.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, he/she will work with the Marketing team to identify training development opportunities for the Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) sector - including reviewing landscape analysis of the ILTC training resources, needs, stakeholders and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and curriculum leadership to the team responsible for the full spectrum of curriculum development ranging from needs analysis to curriculum planning and development, instructional design, and methodologies.
• Formulate and promulgate relevant frameworks to improve formal learning and ensure that the curriculum development standards in the HMTA align with industry practices and trends.
• Analyse, evaluate, and improve the quality of learning, curriculum and learning designs in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and engagement (i.e. Quality Assurance).
• Adopt research-based assessments and pedagogical approaches and evidenced-based practices to develop relevant and customized curriculum and assessment programs.
• Oversee the leadership and management of qualified trainers and curriculum developers to ensure contents and delivery are aligned with the Academy and Foundation’s philosophy and requirements.
• Provide specialist advice to liaise and network with trainers and instructors to ensure that vocational learning standards are relevant and market driven.
• Lead the development of effective blended learning based on e-learning, classroom-based training and workplace learning to support HMTA’s direction.
• Promote critical thinking among learners and show commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
• Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the needs of the course objectives tailored for specific roles in nursing, care management and other clinical disciplines.
• Keep in close contact with SMEs, stakeholders, and sector partners to determine upcoming training needs and to develop high quality content to meet these needs.
• Constantly appraise the curriculum to determine subject matter relevance sectoral needs and other training institutes’ programs, and to revamp when necessary to ensure best-in class training quality and standards.
• Create instructional graphics, the user interface and programmes to ensure excellent learning experience.
• Maintain project documentation and course folders.

Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Curriculum Development/ Instructional Design or equivalent, preferably with at least 5 years of experience in curriculum/ learning design.
• Possess a WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE)/ WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP).
• Familiar with a range of curriculum design models and learning design principles and methodologies.
• 3 years of work experience in a mentoring and curriculum leadership role managing the full spectrum of curriculum development ranging from needs analysis to curriculum planning and development, instructional design, and methodologies.
• Experience with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and/or AIC‑funded programmes is an advantage.
• Being keenly attuned to the changing and emerging educational needs, methodologies and learning technologies.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin; understanding of local dialects is an advantage
• Proficiency in learning management systems and educational technology.

Pay range and compensation package

We offer a competitive base salary range of SGD $5500 to $7500 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Role

The Programme/ Healthcare Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting clients with daily living activities and basic patient care. Their work includes providing clinical, personal, therapy and psychosocial care, enhancing the well-being of the clients through individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide interactive activities and group exercises to clients
• Provide blood pressure and blood sugar measurement and reading under supervision of a nurse
• Provide personal care according to the individual needs (ie grooming, dressing, showers, bathing, toileting, transferring, meal preparation, feeding, laundry)
• Provide transport escort for clients on company transport
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Assist multi-disciplinary team with regards to the client’s care plan
• Other duties as assigned by HO

Key Requirements

• Min GCE N level / Higher Nitec in Community Care & Social Services & Rehabilitation Care
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing care or Therapy)
• Preferably with experience in providing care for seniors in community care setting e.g. senior day care
• Good working attitude

This role is on a 5-day work week and will be based in Tiong Bahru.

Pay range and compensation package

The Role
The Therapy Assistant work with the therapist in providing quality clinical care, administrative and technical support to ensure the efficient operation of our Day Rehabilitation Centre. Duties include scheduling appointments, registration, providing therapeutic modalities and exercises, and tabulating data for reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform client scheduling and billing
• Liaise with transport vendor to schedule client transport
• Assist the therapist in taking vital signs and monitor client’s status during therapy
• Prepare clients and equipment for therapy session and restore work area after the session
• Assist therapist in carrying out routine assessments or treatment plans
• Document therapy sessions according to template sets in a timely manner
• Assist in client care such as emergency response, toileting, and client’s general well being
• Maintain cleanliness, infection control and safety of therapy areas
• Participate in/ contribute to continuing education and service/clinical improvement projects

Other duties

• Answer phone calls, handle enquires, record and convey messages
• Perform data entry, maintain accurate records and organise data for reporting using computer programmes
• Perform inventory checks, maintain inventory list and ordering of consumables
• Other duties as directed by the therapist and/or Lead Therapist.

Requirements

• Minimum relevant Nitec/ Higher Nitec or ITE Diploma qualifications
• WSQ Certificate in Therapy Support (Healthcare)/ Diploma in Rehabilitation Care or higher
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience working with seniors with dementia or call center experience will be an advantage.
