We are seeking a motivated and positive Catering Sales Executive/ Assistant Sales Manager   to join our dynamic and fast- growing team. The Catering Sales Executive / Assistant Sales Manager  is  responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting our catering and bento services. You will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets, understanding market trends, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Identify and target potential clients in the corporate, hospitality, and event sectors.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and online research.
• Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.

Client Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Understand client needs and customize catering packages to meet their requirements.
• Act as the point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.

Sales Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities and improve service offerings.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales materials.

Event Coordination & Follow-Up:

• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services for events.
• Follow up with clients post-event to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
• Resolve any issues or complaints to maintain a positive client relationship.

Reporting:

• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
• Track and monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in business management, hospitality or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role, preferably in the catering, F&B, or hospitality industry.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

The Plattering Co is known for its beautiful grazing tables and creative catering buffet setup displays, sharing platters, bowls and bentos and unique catering setups. 

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to support multiple brands under our portfolio. This role will be responsible for executing content, design, and campaign initiatives across digital platforms, ensuring consistency in brand voice, visual identity, and performance-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management (35%)

• Plan, curate, and manage content calendars across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok for multiple brands.

• Create and publish engaging content (posts, stories, reels, short-form videos) aligned with brand positioning and campaign objectives.

• Monitor social trends, platform updates, and content opportunities to keep output relevant and timely.

• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and enquiries in a timely manner.

• Coordinate with influencers and content creators for collaborations and campaign activations. 

• Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics (e.g. engagement rate, reach, impressions, growth), and provide actionable insights 

• Conduct regular competitor monitoring and share key observations with the team.

2. Design Support (35%)

• Design visually appealing graphics, images, and videos for social media posts, website banners, digital flyers, email newsletters, and other marketing materials using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).

• Execute photoshoots and video shoots as needed to produce high-quality content for various platforms. 

• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across all channels.

3. Website & Email Marketing Support (15%)

• Update website content including banners, product visuals, and promotional messaging across multiple brand sites.

• Work within website platforms such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Weebly, and Shopify systems to ensure content is accurate and up-to-date.

• Ensure consistency and alignment with ongoing campaigns across all digital touchpoints.

• Assist in email marketing execution using platforms like Mailchimp.

• Draft subject lines, email copy, and CTA variations to support campaign performance.

4. Event On-Site Support (10%)

• Provide on-site content support (photography and videography) for events, activations, and catering setups when required.

5. Other Marketing Activities Support (5%)

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred. A Diploma in a related field with relevant experience will also be considered.

• 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing is preferred.

• Understanding of social media analytic tools, such as Meta Business Suit, FB Ad Manager and TikTok Business Suit.

• Strong communication and copy writing skills to craft engaging, brand-aligned content.

• Proficient in using platforms such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Weebly, Shopify and Mailchimp.

• Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple social media accounts, campaigns, and projects simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with the marketing, creative, and sales teams.

• Ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment.
