In this role, you will define architectural blueprints, guide development teams, and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with banking regulations. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Java technology and a strong understanding of trade finance domains including letters of credit, bank guarantees, documentary collections, and supply chain finance.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

• Design and architect end-to-end trade finance solutions, including originations, risk management, document processing, and settlement workflows.

• Define system architecture, component diagrams, integration patterns, and data models using Java-based technologies (Spring Boot, Microservices, J2EE).

• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and compliant with banking security and regulatory standards.

Technology Leadership

• Lead technical design discussions and guide development teams on Java best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles.

• Evaluate and recommend frameworks, libraries, and tools to optimize trade finance platform performance and maintainability.

• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure architectural integrity and quality.

Integration & APIs

• Design APIs (REST, SOAP) for seamless integration with internal systems (core banking, payments, AML, CRM) and external partners (logistics, insurers, customs).

• Architect event-driven integrations using messaging queues (Kafka, JMS) for real-time trade finance processing.

Trade Finance Domain Expertise

• Translate business requirements from trade finance product owners into technical solutions covering:

  • Letters of Credit (Import/Export)

  • Bank Guarantees and Standby LCs

  • Documentary Collections

  • Supply Chain Finance and Invoice Financing

Non-Functional Requirements

• Architect for high availability, disaster recovery, security, performance, and data privacy.

• Implement observability frameworks (logging, monitoring, tracing) for trade finance platforms.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, operations teams, and enterprise architects.

• Manage technical relationships with vendor platforms (e.g., Bolero, Contour, TradeIX) and integration partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture, with at least 5 years focused on trade finance or supply chain finance in banking.

• Deep expertise in Java technology including:

  • Java 8/11/17+

  • Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security)

  • Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • JPA/Hibernate, JMS, RESTful and SOAP web services

• Strong knowledge of trade finance products, processes, and regulations (UCP600, URDG758, SWIFT messages).

• Experience with API design, integration patterns, and middleware (Apache Camel, Mule, or similar).

• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with document management systems and optical character recognition (OCR) for trade documents.

• Certifications such as TOGAF, or Oracle Certified Professional (Java).

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Windows Systems Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, hardening, and ongoing support of mission-critical Windows-based systems across physical and virtual environments. You will work closely with application, security, and network teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security compliance for enterprise banking and payment platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Windows 10/11 environments in a highly available, regulated setting

• Manage and optimize VMware virtualization infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual machine lifecycle

• Administer core directory and authentication services including Active Directory, Kerberos, DNS, and Group Policy

• Automate routine tasks, deployment, configuration, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and system monitoring using PowerShell (or Python/C#)

• Troubleshoot complex operating system and application issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes

• Monitor hardware health and perform performance tuning across physical servers and virtual machines

• Partner with security teams to apply patches, remediate vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards

• Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders, maintaining a high degree of customer service for all technical queries and incident escalations

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Windows Systems Engineer or similar infrastructure role

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Windows 10/11 internals

• Strong proficiency in PowerShell for automation (scripting, deployment, monitoring, IaC); Python or C# experience is a plus

• Solid understanding of Active Directory, Kerberos authentication, DNS, and Group Policy management

• Proven experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) in production environments

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot OS crashes, performance bottlenecks, application compatibility issues, and hardware failures

• Experience with hardware monitoring tools and performance tuning in both physical and virtualized environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure in fast-paced production environments
