Job Responsibilities
· Lead daily financial operations for the Singapore entity.
· Prepare rolling forecasts and annual budgets from scratch, including collating inputs from budget owners, presenting to management, and submitting reports to the Asia Pacific Office.
· Oversee the effective operation of accounting and reporting, taxation, forex, hedging, cash flow management, and risk management functions.
· Actively participate in SOX compliance and other internal control improvement projects.
· Ensure compliance with legal, audit, tax, and internal policies, including reviewing and submitting GST returns.
· Review payment vouchers.
· Liaise with auditors and tax agents on year-end audits and tax computations.
· Perform balance sheet reviews for the Singapore entity.
· Liaise with the regional office and other stakeholders as required.
· Improve visibility of prime material costs and margin analysis.
· Streamline processes and implement best practices.
· Handle group treasury matters.
· Prepare board meeting materials.
· Support ad-hoc projects initiated by local management or the regional office
Requirements
· Degree in Accounting / ACCA /ISCA.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of Hyperion and OneStream will be an advantage.
· Independent, meticulous and has good analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to work in a manufacturing environment.
