- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow) for both retail and salon operations.

- Oversee daily accounting functions including revenue reconciliation from POS systems, cash collection verification, and bank reconciliations across multiple business units.

- Manage inventory accounting for retail goods and salon products, including stock valuation, shrinkage control, and work-in-progress (WIP) tracking where applicable.

- Monitor gross profit margins, cost of sales, and operating expenses to ensure profitability of both mini-mart and salon activities.

- Prepare and analyse consolidated monthly financial and management reports to support business decision-making.

- Drive annual budgeting and periodic forecasting aligned with business growth strategies.

- Ensure proper recording of inter-company transactions (if applicable), accruals, provisions, and foreign exchange adjustments.

- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns to IRAS, ensuring full compliance with Singapore tax regulations.

- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, including audit coordination, corporate reporting, and regulatory filings.

- Strengthen internal controls over inventory management, cash handling, procurement, and payment processes to minimise financial risk.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and company secretary to facilitate smooth financial operations.

- Lead and supervise the finance team, improving accounting systems, workflows, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Provide professional consultation and recommend suitable hairstyles, coloring, and treatments based on clients’ facial shape, hair condition, and preferences.
• Perform a wide range of hair coloring techniques, including highlights, ombre, balayage, and other trending styles.
• Execute various hair styling services, including cutting, trimming, shaping, curling, setting, and finishing.
• Analyze clients’ hair and scalp condition and recommend appropriate treatments, products, or services.
• Carry out general hair services, including blow-drying, styling, and basic grooming services (e.g., waxing where applicable).
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation, tools, and overall salon environment at all times.
• Build and maintain a strong customer base by delivering excellent service and converting walk-in clients into long-term customers.
• Maintain good client relationships, including remembering client preferences and providing personalized service.
• Stay updated on latest hair trends, techniques, products, and technologies, and act as a subject matter expert in hair services.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Relevant experience in retail, F&B, or service industry (barber/salon is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications
