Responsibilities
- Supervise, plan, and organise a team of on-site contractors to carry out both planned and ad-hoc maintenance works efficiently.
- Investigate, inspect, and analyse reported breakdowns and faults to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day building operations, ensuring service delivery meets contractual requirements, KPIs, and operational standards.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise technical staff, supervisors, and service personnel to support daily facilities operations and maintenance activities.
- Oversee both Hard and Soft Services, coordinating technical maintenance and operational support to maintain building functionality and service excellence.
- Supervise maintenance and operation of building M&E systems, including electrical, ACMV, plumbing, fire protection systems, pumps, and building management systems.
- Verify completion of works, review contractor claims and invoices, and follow up on payment submissions and approvals.
- Maintain comprehensive operational documentation, including maintenance records, inspection reports, and service reports.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline preferred.
- Experience in facilities management, building operations, or related roles, preferably in commercial or multi-tenant buildings.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising technical teams and managing contractors.
- Strong knowledge of building M&E systems, Hard and Soft Services, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, facilities operations, and building management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and facilities management software.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
