Role Overview
Employer is a listed MNC and industry leaderseeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify andcapture new market opportunities, support strategic sales planning, and deliverdata-driven insights that enable the sales organisation to grow profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development &Growth
• Identify,assess, and develop new business opportunities — including prospects new to thecompany — through to successful commercialisation.
• Engagewith prospective customers to surface unmet needs and design initiatives thataddress them.
• Conductopportunity analysis and develop actionable business development plans alignedto company capabilities and vision.
• Takeownership of profitable revenue growth across both new and existing customersegments.
Sales Data & Reporting
• Supportthe build and maintenance of systems to collect, analyse, and interpret salesdata using available tools (e.g. Finance Cube, BI platforms).
• Identifyreporting gaps and collaborate with Finance and IT to resolve data qualityissues.
• Designad-hoc reports and analyses to support sales initiatives and decision-making.
• Contributeto continuous improvement of sales reporting processes.
Sales Planning & TargetManagement
• Provideanalytical support for sales forecasting, rebate analysis, and new programmeROI evaluation.
• Supportsales target formulation and manage the Sales Incentive Programme (SIP)measurement process, including handling related enquiries.
• Partneron ad-hoc projects to review and improve systems, enabling more granularprogramme-level analysis for sales teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor'sdegree preferred.
• 3+years of experience in B2B business development, sales, product management, ormarketing. (prior experience in textile, apparel, footwear, and FMCG, andconsumer electronics is advantageous.)
• Strongfinancial acumen with experience in market and territory analysis.
• Skillednegotiator with English and Chinese bilingual proficiency. (the role will focus on China/TW/HK companies in Vietnam)
• Abilityto present complex data clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.
• Proficientin project and process management; comfortable facilitating cross-functionaldiscussions.
• Experiencedworking in matrixed, multicultural organisations.
• Advancedproficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
