Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven professional to lead our Parts Sales Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, maximizing profitability, and improving operational efficiency.
He/She will develop and implement sales, marketing, pricing, and customer service strategies, while managing inventory to prevent stockouts and building strong, lasting customer relationships, besides being effectively lead and motivate a team, to build strategies and business plans that affect organisational change to grow and
consolidate the spares business.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Sales Growth
- Formulate and implement sales and business plans to drive revenue and profitability.
- Monitor, track, and review sales performance, taking corrective actions where necessary.
- Lead sales initiatives in coordination with the team to expand aftermarket parts revenue.
Marketing & Customer Engagement
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to retain existing customers and acquire new ones.
- Strengthen competitiveness and grow market share in parts sales.
- Address customer complaints in terms of quality, pricing & lead-time promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
Aftersales & Service Integration and Refurbishment Business
- Systemize tracking of new equipment service schedules and analyze equipment usage to predict future parts requirements.
- Develop service-related parts sales opportunities by educating customers on the value of genuine (OEM) parts.
Inventory Management
- Oversee global inventory to ensure availability and meet delivery commitments.
- Establish stock level and replenishment procedures to optimize lead times.
- Proactively manage inventory to minimize surplus and avoid obsolescence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in management of a spare parts team/department.
- Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- More than 12 years of proven experience in Parts Sales and Inventory Management within automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial parts industries.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in automotive dealerships, heavy equipment or distribution network is required for this role.
