Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated interior designer to lead residential and commercial projects by conceptualizing designs, managing space planning, preparing detailed drawings, and collaborating with clients and contractors to deliver successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize interior design and space planning for residential and commercial projects to meet client needs
- Collaborate with project managers to manage project drawings and coordinate briefings with clients and contractors through project completion
- Produce detailed site plans, CAD layouts, elevations, and drawings with accurate material specifications and design documentation
- Prepare design proposals including sketches and illustrations to clearly communicate concepts to clients
- Develop final design packages with full elevation and detail drawings and specifications for client and contractor briefings
- Utilize 3D Studio Max, SketchUp, Photoshop, and PowerPoint to create space planning and design presentations
- Work independently to manage design tasks and meet project deadlines
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design
- Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial interior renovation
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to work independently
