Descriptions:

• Performs administrative functions and provides administrative support to project team and/or executive group in field or office as designated by management.
• Transcribe and distribute project documents and correspondence such as the subcontract base, subcontracts, purchase orders and various letters, create and maintain paper and electronic project flies according to company’s guidelines.
• Maintain and track project information for project team as directed.
• Follow up with subcontractors regarding project paperwork eg. claim, certificate, delivery order etc as needed.
• Assist project team with closeout coordination and preparation of O & M manuals.
• Work with Project Director / project manager(s) a directed to achieve departmental objectives.
• Assist Project Director / project managers to prepare project documentation eg cashflow, progress claim to client, project insurance, schedules etc
• Order supplies for project team/office.
• Maintain personal, office and jobsite space and filing in a neat and organized manner.
• Set up project binders and order project drawings from local printing resources.
• Assist project team in the preparation and distribution of project punch lists to venders/subcontractors.
• Archive all project documentation according to company and/or client requirement.
• Participate in project and/or team meetings as needed.
• Assist in the implementation of new procedures as designated by company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Singaporeans / SPR only
• N/O/A level qualification and above
• Meticulous
• Positive attitude and willing to learn
• Versed in Microsoft office
• Min 1 year of relevant experience in contractor environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To assist Project Manager to handle and calculate the quantity and costing of the different tender assignments. Technical review on the supplier/contractor quotation or proposal and makes sure that all requirements are complied.
• Familiar and able to understand general contracts and various tender documents.
• Able to provide budget cost or estimates as per instruction.
• Liaise with suppliers for their products and services presentation
• Able to look for solution regarding any technical problems during tender.
• Able to communicate with other Departments in dealing with various documents and issue
• Coordinate with the supplier/contractor regarding follow up on bills and quantities
• To evaluate and check on market unit rates monthly/Quarterly for material and labour cost
• To hand over all tender document and costing to project team once the tender is awarded
• To attend site show round for those tender that we are interested
• To reply tender clarification, preparation for tender interview and presentation
• Experienced in new built projects will have an advantage

Requirements

• Singaporean ONLY
• Diploma in M&E / Electrical Engineering, as a Quantity Surveyor for 3 - 5 Years
• Work in Subcontractor environment is an advantage
