Job Summary
This role will oversee financial reports, ensure compliance with financial regulations, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and monitor organizational financial performance.
Responsibilities
Oversee accounting processes to maintain accurate and compliant financial records
Administer and review financial plans and budgets to manage cash flow and forecasting effectively
Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collections and payments
Ensure compliance with Singapore GST, tax, and statutory financial requirements
Manage accounts payable/receivable, purchase orders, approvals, and billing processes
Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and tax advisors to support financial operations
Provide financial insights, cash flow planning, and grant support to the Managing Director for business expansion and cash flow management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent
At least 3 years of relevant working experience; experience in the education industry is advantageous
Familiarity with accounting software such as Unit4 is advantageous
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Positive working attitude, responsibility, and willingness to learn
