We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Accountant to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting compliance and reporting requirements. Experience in the F&B or retail industry is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
Manage full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, and GL
Process invoices, payments, and staff expense claims accurately and on time
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
Track cost of goods sold (COGS) and gross margin per product category
Reconcile POS system reports against daily cash and card collections
Support monthly F&B cost analysis reports for management review
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assist with GST filing and ensure timely submission to IRAS
Support year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
Process payroll accurately including CPF contributions and SDL
Maintain employee payroll records and issue payslips
Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises
Handle ad hoc finance-related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role
Experience in F&B, hospitality, or retail industry preferred
Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or SAP)
Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
