Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts for multiple clients
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in GST submissions and tax computations
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns
- Liaise with clients, auditors, and tax authorities when required
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations
- Support process improvements and implementation of accounting systems
Requirements
- Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) are an advantage
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or tax
- Experience in an outsourced accounting firm is a plus
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
