About the Function

The Group Technology andOperations (T&O) Risk Governance & Assurance (TOGA) function, as afirst line of defense, works closely with T&O leadership to identify,assess, mitigate and manage risks and ensure the existence of appropriatecontrols. Job Responsibilities

Collaboratingclosely with the Technology and Operations teams across the Group, thesuccessful candidate will support the Head of Operations Risk Governance, todrive first-line Operations risk governance activities and initiatives. Thiswill include, but not be limited to the following:

• Support the adherence by operations units, with the Bank’s Operations Risk Management Policy and guidelines.
• Support in risk oversight and governance, through analysis and reporting of key risk issues/ trends, key risk indicators, and prepare materials to facilitate discussions during the regular governance committee meetings.
• Support on data analytics projects to effectively and efficiently identify risk issues and trends, to improve risk management efficiencies and capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 4-5 years working experience with at least 2-3 years in any of these disciplines: operational/ enterprise risk management, audit, compliance, data analytics, preferably in a banking environment.
• A university degree in business, accounting, data analytics or any risk management related domain.
• Familiarity with internal controls over operational activities of a bank, and knowledge of retail and wholesale banking processes and products would be an added advantage.
• Good communication, presentation and influencing skills and able to manage stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
